Perfect hotel location for exploring the Lago di Braies area. We could hike directly from the hotel to the lake (no need to mess with car / parking at the lake).
The hotel staff was great. We enjoyed the pool and spa areas. The food was wonderful, especially the great dinners.

Breakfast was great. The room with it carpeting feels cleaner and more refreshing. Convenient to visit the lake

We had a lot of issues with this property. This is definitely NOT a 4-Star hotel. To begin with, the property is old and dirty, and when we checked into the room there was a putrid smell from the sewers in the bathroom. We were advised to just open our windows and they tried cleaning it but it never went away. We left a day early because of that and they wouldnt refund us. Secondly, the description online says they have laundry, which they do not. And i was counting on this stay to be able to wash my clothes halfway through our trip. Third, the food was horrendous. Inedible. Everything frozen and microwaved before serving but they charge 30 EUR per person for it because there are limited places in that area. Lastly, the "saving" grace was that they had a pool and a number of spa's/saunas. However, they dont tell you that they are only open 2.5 hrs a day and only in the afternoon... please, no one ever stay here

My wife and I stayed here while hiking the Dolomites. The entire experience was 10/10. The staff, the food, the spa and the room were all incredible.
