We only had 2 little problems, this was the first hotel I've ever been in that I couldn't hook up my fire stick without getting help from the front desk then I had to call at&t so they could unlock the TV in my room, took about 2 1/2 hours and the next day housekeeping never came to our room to empty the trash and replace the toiletries so we had to do it ourselves, we didn't expect the bed to be made. Everything thing else was nice , breakfast was good, room was very nice and clean, we got upgraded to a queen suite due to a recent storm that damaged a lot of ocean front rooms but our suite had a good view of the ocean. The cleanliness of this hotel was outstanding from the lobbies to hallways, elevators, pool and fire pit area. The tiki bar was very nice too along with all the staff that we dealt with. Great location too within walking distance of good restaurants, shopping and fishing. I would come here again.

Enjoyed the staff and the tiki bar! Very friendly and helpful. Staff. Hotel was very clean and rooms were great. What a great view from our balcony! Took friends from out of town that have never been to the coast. Thank you

$500 a night hotel operating like a $50 a night motel. Show up and the front entrance to the lobby is locked. The desk clerk can't find my reservation. When she does, she tries to charge me again although I already paid. It's ten pm, I get upstairs to get my family to bed and there's music blaring from outside. I wake up the next morning to take a shower and the refillable bottle of shampoo attached to the wall is completely empty. Bone dry. I ask my wife to ask for more, they eventually bring another bottle, and I find the conditioner is bone dry. And I notice that the soap I have been using was another replacement bottle that the previous tenant had to ask for, because it was not affixed to the wall. It must be policy to just not refill the shampoo because there's no time to do it. They had 11 hours to get the room ready and they missed this. What other corners did they cut? I went to breakfast and the sausage gave us diarrhea. This place runs like a motel six, which I probably should have stayed at, and saved about five hundred dollars. Hilton needs to pay its staff, offer new staff enough pay to attract workers, and stop hoarding these exorbitant rents. That or sell Hampton to someone who can run this place competently. Don't stay here. It is just not worth it

The lobby was nice. I got to the room and the sink and tub had hair all in it. The room did not appear very clean. The air condition was not working. After 2 visits from maintenance, we were moved to another room at 10:30pm in pajamas. The shower barely ran. Very low water pressure. The pool entrance door was not working. The lobby exit to the pool was broken and finally just propped open after a few days. This is certainly concerning for a Hilton property! The price in no way matched the hotel!

I would have given this hotel 5 stars had it not been for the worn out mattresses and box springs in our suite. My back was sore from the uncomfortable bed. Our room Suite 200 had a door that opened onto the balcony instead of a sliding door. Therefore we didn’t have a screen to close. We would have rather had a screen. There wasn’t a microwave in the room and the refrigerator needed to be defrosted. The breakfasts were very good. The staff kept the dining area spotless and well stocked with food. They had a 100% from the health department posted on their wall. In N.C. that’s the highest rating you can get. We really enjoyed the breakfasts in the mornings during our stay. The boardwalk is right in front of the hotel with very easy access to the beach. No huge dunes to climb over. Just a level wooden walkway down to the sandy beach. Parking is indoors and outside. They have elevators that allow you to go directly down to the garage from your room floor. Very convenient. I would definitely stay there again if they get new mattresses and box springs for the rooms. When leaving the front desk manager Kyle said that they would probably be replacing them next year. If so I’d definitely stay there again.

Great location, nice walks along the ocean also on the boardwalk, lots of small shops nearby, small theme park, lots of dining options… The hotel is exceptionally clean, the pool is available, everything works without problems. I highly recommend it for a holiday

Enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to the beach and boardwalk without driving. There was not enough parking for all hotel guests on Saturday and had to park in city parking at no fee.

We came last year and we liked it so much we came back again this august. Nice rooms clean and good breakfast with many choices

The room we had was good but there was a sticky substance on the floor by the refrigerator. When coming back from one of our outings we found dog poop on the outside of someone’s door. There were no soda or water machines for your convenience. The amenities could have been better with having either machines for drinks or snacks or have a convenience store to purchase items there. The amount of money that was paid for 2 days $1400.00 it could have been a lot better

They don’t clean your room everyday and you need to keep for towels everyday. And I also found two big bugs roaches. Disgusting and scary.
