Close walk to the CBD and free, secure parking. First time in our 45 day trip that we’ve had to pay a security deposit ($200). Hope to get it back in 5-6 days.

It was for the Qld Caravan Show, apartment is ok, old, couch old, chairs old, everything old, wifi good signal but our laptop security systems would not allow a connection. So we just hotspot off our phones to do emails. Front desk clerk is excellent and he is very helpful and informative. Also someone cooked a powerful Indian curry that stunk out the hallway for 2 days.

This place is awesome. I booked 2 rooms, with a Queen bed and 2 single beds. It was decked out with a great cookers kitchen equipped with Miele appliances, and a massive fridge. This beauty had 2 bathrooms, a very spacious living, dining and lounge room, plus a laundry and a balcony all for an incredibly cheap price.
We swam in the freezing outdoor pool, then warmed up in the very hot, hot tub. Then relaxed in the sauna to unwind. It was divine
There is a massive entertaining area downstairs, with 2 barbecues and seating for over 100 people.
The man at front desk was amazing. Looks like he works really hard.
The room was clean and stocked with clean linen, towels and cleaning essentials.
I was very impressed. Definitely money well spent

My daughter and I stayed for 6 nights at The Astor Apartments. I had read very different reviews, a lot of them quite negative, so I was postively surprised. The apartment we got was very spacious and had all we needed - including a beautiful view of Brisbane from the 11th floor on the balcony of the apartment.
The place was not the cleanest, but it was clean enough for us for the time we stayed.
The pool on the 3rd floor was great☺️
We liked staying at the Astor apartments and would recommend to others - the location was really good too, we could walk to most things in town (even with my 6-year old).

Dining room chairs in very poor condition i.e. leather flaking off. Internal painting poor, looks like it has never been finished probably particularly in the living room.

Although just this time, we had few issue in our room. All the sudden electricity went down and had to wait 2hours till Electritian came and fixed.
Bathroom door knob was falling, second room door know was broken. And the sofa material was torn etc. I think they need to go through every room and fix everything first before advertising on the market.

The only thing I don't like and it is becoming a trend is very limited reception hours. I've stayed at a few places now and frankly I don't like it. Otherwise the stay was goo, room was great so the accomodation part if fine.

Great value, very nice rooms. Although finding an acrylic nail on the lounge room floor was a surprise. However, the 2 $5 notes in the laundry lint filter kind of made up for it.
