Quiet hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We did not have hot water in the bathroom, which was very unfortunate.

It was a very nice stay. The room was very clean, the reception staff and cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread is nice and you can make your own fresh juice. It is very centrally located just minutes away from Capitol and from the metro station at the heart of the city. The only problem was that they dont have many plug points for electricity in their room so bring your own extension. And a kettle to boil water for coffee or tea would have been a nice touch. Otherwise a very good hotel and I will stay there again.

Excellent location for everything to see in Toulouse. Comfortable room with new shower room. Continental breakfast excellent with good choice of food available and a good price. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

The facility is old, hostel-like, in bad need of total renovation. It's absolutely not worth the cost.

Good size room and bathroom, confortable bed. Room with at a balcony. The hotel is well located near Victor Hugo market and good pastery and restaurants. The only cons was my door room looked like it wasbroken at one time and they did not repaired well or painted the damage. The price was a little over price for the the quality of hotel

The location is excellent. The staff were fabulous. They carried in my luggage, called me when my friend arrived, got us breakfast two hours early so we could catch the train. The best personal service ever! Talk about feeling welcome. Toulouse is a great city and it is all in easy walking distance. Perhaps you could find the room a bit small but it was charming and had plenty of space for clothes and in the bathroom.

Busy hotel in a great area in the middle of Toulouse - good breakfast available. Rooms SMALL but that is nothing unusual for French hotels. Outside facing rooms can get quite noisy. Very helpful staff - all with great English (although I did TRY to do everything in French...) Lift and stairs show "character" - not in a bad way. WiFI works ok. Bathroom had a shower in the bath but no shower curtain so not ideal for me, but for one night it was more than adequate.

Okay stay for the cost very close to everything.

We did not have air conditioning but were promised it would be fixed the next day This continued for four days. They promised an adjustment on our bill but at check out were told we would have to write to the manager but he NEVER answers his messages. This turned out to be true, we have written twice with no response. Location was great but room was small and hot. With no air, we had to open the small window and then had bugs. We would never stay there again nor recommend it.

Looked on line and pictures seemed fine but for the amount we paid it was well below par and the air con was not operational!!! Downstairs looks great but upstairs was not inspirational Would NOT RECOMMEND!!

Nice stylish room saw online and reserved was NOT the same we got! Very disapointed with the simple and plain room. Didn't match the high cost of the room.

Hotel De France is in a great location in the center of town and close to shopping and many cafes and restaraunts! The room was small but comfortable and the staff was very friendly!! The outside noise from people yelling was the only downside!

Comfy beds. Put in different room to that ordered as hotel thought one ordered would be noisy on saturday night - it would have been. We were happier higher up where there was more natural daylight. Toulouse buildings are usually five storey. Woken by noise from building work next door on 2nd and 3rd morning of stay. not hotel's fault but i would not have wished this. Building work is finite i presume - renovatinghotel next door. Exdellent location, and tranquil apart from current next door building works. I would go there again. Staff were very helpful.

Lovely little hotel situated in a good location for all the main attractions but suitably tucked away so as not to be too noisy. We had a room on the 5th floor with its own balcony. Whilst a bit small the room was well set out and comfortable, warm when it needed to be, cold when it didn't (aircon worked very well and was quiet). The staff were excellent - informative, very helpful and polite and perservered with our awful French. English speaking skills were very good.
