The Inn itself is dated yet very clean but beds were rock hard so not a good nights rest was had.We enjoyed having the balcony on the room with little added cost, highly recommend that option. Location was excellent, walking distance to waterfront and shops. Grocery store across the street from Inn and a convenience store next to Inn. We do not recommend the onsite restaurant, aside from the great servers, the food was very overpriced, not of good quality in taste and took over an hour for it to be served. Other food establishments within walking distance and view, which were had and enjoyed. Office desk staff appeared friendly at check in but mood of a different staff for checkout left little to be desired. Bring hairdryer if needed, none available in bathroom.

We had a noisy room, very close to the restaurant/bar... would not recommend that. The room is well equipped, but small and congested.

It’s in bedeck. Nice area close to the shops, restaurant and not too far away from the national park. Great place to stay if you are planning to do the Cabot trail and Cape Breton Island national park.

We really loved the quaint styling of this inn. They've kept the old decor and charm, while keeping the place clean and fresh feeling. We were only booked in for one night, but decided to stay two. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Good location for starting our bike trip and ev station on property and also nearby for free at national park.

This is a dated inn. The rooms were clean and had a fridge and coffee maker, however the furniture was dated, the curtains were badly faded in areas were the sun had been hitting them and the pictures on the wall were also dated. Our room was at the end of the hall and so we did not good wifi. This was frustrating, especially for my children. The rooms had thin walls and we could hear conversations next door until late at night. Most staff were friendly, and one did attempt to help us with the wifi without any luck, but the woman who checked us in was unfriendly and continued the task she was doing at the desk before attending to me. The breakfast at their restaurant was good, however I had my worst lobster dinner ever with gritty mussels and overcooked vegetables. I could not eat most of it.

Great place to stay! Friendly, clean although bar isn’t open late if you were wanted to have a night cap.
