Considering the relatively high cost, the hotel was lacking in service and value. With breakfast at £29, this only covered the hot breakfast. Cereal, fruit, yoghurt, etc, was extra. At dinner, the menu choice was very limited with around 6 or 7 mains of which 2 were burgers. The hotel also needs more eco awareness, small plastic bottles of shampoo and shower gel are wasteful and should by now be replaced with refilled containers. Otherwise the hotel was clean and staff were generally friendly

We were in town visiting our daughter. The Petersham is a charming hotel ideally situated in Richmond. Breakfast was excellent each morning. We also enjoyed late night glasses of wine.

Just by seeing the wall of signed pics of previous guests you know you’re in a top quality hotel. If you can just stay once, it’s so worth it. Lovely. I can’t wait to go back again.

Will definitely stay here next time we are in town. Restaurant was a little pricey and had limited selections for dinner, but the food was great and the view from the dining room is unsurpassed.

Everything was great and its a beautiful area. The only thing that wasnt "bad" necessarily is that it was not air conditioned (yeah, we're spoiled Americans). But the temperatures were fine and there was a fan included. Staff was great and accommodating. Lots of beautiful areas nearby!
