The pool is lovely, set among beautiful gardens. The rooms inside are sadly a little lacking. The separate toilet was incredibly small (the seat and the room itself) to the point where it was hard to do what you needed to do. The fan was broken. The bed was very comfortable but the sofa wasn’t (sofa bed) leaving you with back pain. The balcony was nice. The Wi-fi didn’t work for a couple of days which was annoying. Finally the bathroom - the shower was a sad little dribble. And there were issues with the hot water for a couple of days.

Hotel is located about 1km from the beach. There is a taxi service but you may have to wait. Check in was 4pm. We finally got to our room at 4.40. The Wi-Fi is very slow. The pool area is nice and the room was very clean. The view was a hedge. We stayed two nights.

Overall a nice facility. The AC did not work. Addressed that with front desk who responded right away, but did nothing - thus the lower rating.

Terrific little hotel with a beautiful pool. Very close to a small town with bars and restaurants. Rooms are small but well appointed, with a small balcony. Very quiet. Public areas are well maintained, lovely gardens with seating areas. Bar always seems to be available . Staff are really friendly and helpful

We have just completed our third stay at Le Cottage in the last four years. If we return to Argeles sur Mer next year we shall seek to stay there again. From the moment of our arrival to the point of departure we have not the slightest complaint. This area has a wealth of local / Cathar history, with numerous places to visit.

First room offered was terrible smelt of smoke despite non smoking area. It was small and the bathroom had an unpleasant aroma too. Maybe we were offered this room as we were travelling with our dog. Once we complained we were offered a better room which was bigger and cleaner. Good that there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room because there was no restaurant at the hotel. Overall we were very disappointed and wouldn't go back.

Lovely hotel, good room size, very nice bathroom plenty of space. Staff were very nice and helpful. Would stay again only negative is location, it is about 25 minutes walk to either the beach or town centre.

My wife and I were so pleased we chose this hotel as it lived up to everything its website promised. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay here. All the staff were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again.

Great little hotel with an awesome pool, great staff and super comfy and clean rooms. It is away from the beach but that is exactly what you want here. the beach area is busy, noisy and kind of seedy. This is a little oasis out of the way but walking distance or quick bus to the beach. Walk to the old section of town and grocery store.

However we were not disappointed as soon as you stepped into the grounds the feeling of relaxation was soon upon us. the swimming pool was just right and surrounded by beautiful plants and greenery. Reception was very welcoming and super efficient and immediately you felt like you had picked the right place and was going to enjoy the holiday. The decor was contemporary and very tastefully done. I don't have a negative and would highly recommend this hotel.

On arriving at the hotel we received a very warm welcome and everything wax explained to us about the times of breakfast and entry to the hotel after hours. We were then shown the spa facilities and taken to our room which was lovely as we over looked the pool and the pyrenees. We didnt have beach towels with us but no need to worry as the hotel loan them to you which was a pleasant surprise. The pool was amazing as it looks just like it does on the website and it was heated, the grounds are also nicely done and are well kept with palm trees and colourful shrubs. Our room although a little small expecially the toilet was extremely clean and well equipped and I loved the fact that they supply you with white robes to wear and fit flops if you book for the spa. The spa area was so relaxing with a huge jacuzzi indoors and a jacuzzi outdoors I just wish I was there longer to use it more. Our stay was so relaxing and I couldnt fault anything, we wanted to stay another night but unfortunately they were fulled booked. If we decide to visit the area again I will certainly be booking again.
