Escape to our charming cabin in the woods, where tranquility meets rustic comfort! Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck and hear the wind rustling through the tops of the pine trees, or dive into any of our many books in our cozy reading nook. Come up for a weekend on your own, with your family, or even with your furry four-legged trail partner!

Goose Roost allows you to unwind from the hustle and bustle of every day life and surround yourself with nature, but still offers excellent amenities so that you can enjoy a hot shower and cook a full meal at the end of a day of adventure. You can head 20 minutes west towards the town of Murphys, where you’ll find wine tasting, fine art galleries and fun eclectic shoppes. You can also travel 25 minutes east to beautiful Lake Alpine, where you can kayak, paddle board, swim, hike or snowshoe in the winter…you name it! Just before the lake you’ll find the Bear Valley Ski Resort, where there is a wide variety of downhill skiing for all experience levels. In the evening, enjoy grilling on the propane Weber grill, or take the short one-minute drive over to the famous Lube Room Restaurant & Saloon (rumor has it that Mark Twain drank there!)

Connecting with nature allows you to recharge, find inner peace, and cultivate a sense of well-being that contributes to your overall health. This cabin int eh woods has been our home away from home, and we’re excited to have Goose Roost be your gateway to happiness as well!

Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there. Keyless Entry for your arrival and stay. Note, there are stairs to get to the Cabin entrance.

Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Pet Policy: Well-behaved and housebroken dogs welcomed, but must not be left alone (must be over 1 year old - max 2 dogs) with $50 non-refundable pet fee (please include in your reservation notes how many pets you're bringing, max 2). Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only).

Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.

Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.
