The room was clean.
The public area was not nice. Dusty, broken sofas, lack of cushion in sofas. And the one existing disgusting.

Friendly staff and good location outside from the main party zone and close to the beach. A small hostel so ideal if you are looking for a less sociable place. Nice and clean rooms.
Sapa Inka was next to a party hostel and a building site so occacional noise nuisance may occur though not their fault. The pillows were extremely big!

Awesome spot in Montanita on the quieter side of town. We enjoy partying, but we also like coming back to a quiet comfortable room. And it was perfect! The bed was comfortable, AC worked, the shower was great, it essentially has everything you could want. We also used the kitchen and it was always clean it had plenty of utensils.

Good location which is slightly off the party area of Montanita. Very friendly staff, clean rooms (there are only 4 in the hotel). Kitchen available. Lots of options within walking distance. Easy bus or taxi access for visits to Olon.

Bad experience here. When I arrived at around 4pm, they had given my room away for the night. I had to find another place to stay on short notice. I decided to stay at the other place for the rest of my stay. And they wouldn't refund me.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The hostel is beautiful, a few blocks from the beach, and a short distance to downtown. It's very quiet, very clean, and the room was spacious. Wifi was great too. The family that runs the hostel was so kind and made us feel at home. We were so sad to leave! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely great stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with netflix tv and AC (most importantly). Douglas and his family are really lovely people and we are so grateful to them for our stay - the children are so cute and fun to be around!

We loved staying here, very comfortable and well equipped room. The guy was welcoming and they cleaned our room everyday, what a treat :-)

Douglas and his family were very welcoming and made our stay comfortable. We even got a room upgrade for free! The hostel was very basic and good value for money
The electric shower was very slow and also dangerous! My boyfriend accidentally knocked the shower head and received an electric shock.

Great location, just a bit out of town (like 5 mins walk away) which was ideal because any hostel in town would have been way too loud. Close to a great restaurant called La Terreta.
The room was also much nicer than expected.
The bathroom in the room had a bit of an unpleasant smell

I really this little hidden gem. It is a very small hostel, closeby the center, but you don't hear the noise of it at night.
The owner is really sweet and wants to make sure you have a wonderfull stay. You can use the kitchen if you want to cook something.

The best hostel I've stayed in in Ecuador! Really nice design, everything seems to be pretty new, lots of security features, the owners are super nice people and take good care of the place. There are some lovely cats. The rooms are big with flat-screens, Netflix, a small desk and two chairs, sockets next to the bed, storing space, and a modern bathroom with hot water! There were no bugs. The location is great, close to everything (less than 5 minutes walking to any place of interest) but far enough so that you can rest in peace (though you can still hear the music, it's not loud enough to disturb). We felt super welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I just wish I could have stayed longer! Definitely coming back if I ever visit Montañita again.

Sapa inka is a perfect place to stay in montanita. Super close to the beach and restaurants but far enough to relax quietly. Danny is a great guy and will do whatever it takes to make your stay great. Highly recommended.

Danny and his wife Stin are exceptional hosts, always caring for you. The atmosphere of the place is very warm...buona onda! Very good location near the beach, and near the downtown but not to close so the place is very quiet too. The room was very clean and spacious. The wifi was good. I will go back
