A fantastic new addition to the Newbury hotel scene. The Coat and Bear is brand new, and while it still has some understandable teething issues with tech, the team could not have been more friendly and courteous throughout my stay.
The rooms were renovated to an exceptionally high standard for the room rate, and the food in the restaurant is exceptional.

We stayed in a really fancy room. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The bathroom was lovely with a separate shower and free standing bath. Plenty of lovely Bramley products. There was a fridge with fresh milk and water, tea, coffee and an Illy coffee machine. Some little sweet treats were left for us to enjoy. Breakfast was good too.
