Kind of a Low-Quality Inn, even for an airport hotel, if you ask me!
The staff did their best to be helpful, and the bed was quite comfortable.
But this is a loooong way from a luxury or even business class hotel.

I will say that the Quality Inn is such a pleasant surprise and a great place to stay after a long flight.
It is spotless and the service and management is top notch. We stay in hotels frequently and this one? All I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We had a great stay

We stayed here for one night upon arrival at JFK quite late in the night to catch some sleep before we hit the road to continue with our journey. All we needed was a bed, clean bathroom and a night's sleep. I think we got just that here. The hotel is trying hard to please the guests. The breakfast is ok and we didn't expect a full buffet. There is sufficient parking and with CCTV it feels safe. With the proximity to JFK a short drive away, it is perfect to not break the bank for one night's sleep.
Now to the areas for improvement.
The property is a little old and the sound proofing between the rooms and hallways is very poor. There was a lot of loud people in the hallway talking ever so loud just outside rooms that guests are sleeping in. I think they should encourage guests to respect the right of other guests to a quiet night and keep conversations in the lobby or just not shout. There was someone playing loud music on their phone along the hallway. Basically it felt like there were some very self centered / selfish guests / staff.
Overall, I would stay here again for the one night before or after a flight from JFK which is not something I've said to other airport hotels in the past, so well done but pls try to improve on the areas highlighted. thanks..

Hotel closed and late notice of cancellation. Horrible and left me in a horrible position.

The hotel dishonored the paid reservation without any explanation 3-4 days before the scheduled date. Expedia took the responsibility and re-arranged us for another hotel.

This property/hotel is Ok for an overnight before a flight. I would not venture outside since its a busy area. Safe-did not stay long enough to comment.

Hard to get to room because of stairs and no elevator. Breakfast this morning was absolutely horrendous.

Staff very friendly. Towels & wash cloth skimpy. Bath towel had several baseball size dark stains (or dirt). Toilet seat very loose. Needs quality updates.

Had to wait 50 minutes from the time we called until they picked us up at air port. Hotel is only mile and half from air port. Very easy to get to hotel pick up at air port just take air train it's free.The hotel was clean. Room was very nice, a little more street noise then I would have liked , light breakfast just right .

The staff was nice and the room wasn’t bad. However, our room and most of the floor smelled like weed. We were right by an outdoor seating area which was very noisy starting at 6:30 am.

It would have helped if the property had advised that the JFK AirTrain station #1 was CLOSED. All of my info said to take it to a particular station - which I could not access due to my need for a wheelchair. I had to take a $30 cab ride, which was ridiculous and what I was unprepared for.

The shuttle only runs on the hour to JFK. Avoid room 114, if possible. It is next to the vending machines and at the juncture of two halls and is noisy. The facility is a bit run down, showing its age, but the bed was super comfortable.

Entire place smelled like marijuana! No elevator from lobby requiring you to carry bags down stairs to get to an elevator. Airport shuttle is from Jamaica station Airtram and it only goes hourly and was 35mins late. I requested late check out and was told that I would have to pay to check out at 2 PM. I agreed to pay a specific amount and when I went to check out they told me they had to have it in cash. I didn’t have the cash so she asked me how much money I had and took what I had. Seems like the employees are pocketing the money.

I didn't like the noise the ,background and the water not going out but is stuck until you off the tap or shower.

The shuttle service to JFK was excellent. But both my stays were in rooms that were very noisy with outdoor surroundings. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing. The blow dryer in room did not work and front desk had no extra to use. Coffee maker in room missing pieces so that you could not make your own

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I was trying to get a decent night's sleep, so i could take an early flight the next morning and the noise was horrible in the hallway ALL night long! No staff to be found all night to complain to. Horrible stay!

There was a used condom in the room. The room was dirty. I refused the room. I was given a other and that room was dirty and smelled like feces(I photographed the condom, stained sheets, grimy light switches).
I left the hotel and requested a refund. The refund was denied.

Overall fairly decent place for a quick/short stay. Room comfort and cleanliness was better than i thought. They allowed me to store my bag as arrived before check in.

Liked the distance from the airport.
Card to access room not working often and 2 or 3 trips taken to front desk to get resolved. Also room was close to the road and noisy.

Based on the reviews and the price, I expected a moderate hotel, not a below budget hotel, with the smell of weed on every floor, doors slamming at all hours and shady/seedy people hover around the entrance. The room and ripped sheets, a bathtub that didn’t drain and wall paper peeling from the wall, definitely not an enjoyable night and wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel is in a very good position for the airport and operates an excellent free shuttle service.
All the staff are so helpful.

Room beds and bathroom were good, however airport shuttle service was unacceptable. We waited 1.5 hours at airport for shuttle. We called hotel twice. Found out they sent an Unmarked SUV for 4 people. No idea it was for that hotel- no sign. Didn’t fit all of us, so had to wait more.

Breakfast nothing exept waffles and cold cereals, no fruits no toast. Elevator old and noisy, scary. Its smells pot. No sreen in are window, fridge very small and no microwave. My keys never worked. No much place to park...very noisy. I wont go back there sorry
