Location of this historic property is perfect. Right on the beach!

Hotel just reopened after renovation. Processes are not yet optimal and staff is still working out some issues here and there. also, parts of the hotel (or more precisely, areas connecting to the hotel) are still a construction site.

This place is really a casino trying to be a hotel. The staff are of good will but inexperienced and without freedom to act without superiors. The hotel is brand new, with all the side affects of that (continued construction in and aroud the hotel, malfunctioning elevators and airconditioning). The photo’s are clearly overstating what you will find in real life. Communication is horrible, the room with 2 twins that we booked is not available, the only option with 2 beds was a suite at double the price. But surprise: that was a bed and a fold out coach at € 500,- night next to the building site. No offer to make up for what were clearly their mistakes in communication. The real problem we were told is that we booked through Booking.com “we cannot communicate with Booking” we were told. We were told things would be much cheaper and better communicated if we would have booked directly. But we would have never ended up in this place if our Booking search would not have brought us there.

Location, décoration, breakfast room and food.

Reception mixed up with reservation center and no common places to sit other than the bar.

beautiful view from balcony, very good breakfast, dinner was good too. room very comfortable

appreciate that is newly refurbished but still smelled of paint. bathroom waste was a little smelly on first day too
