It's a family hotel with a personal touch. The owners personally welcome you and chat with the guests. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and sufficiently spacious. The location is great! You only hear birds if you keep your window open even though the railway station is just two minutes walking away. There are hiking and biking trails close to the hotel. The food in the hotel restaurant is very good but you can only get the menu of the day (choice of 2).

We arrived on a very hot day and we noticed that the mattress is very thin on top of a (artificial?) leather base. This is very sweaty and not comfortable when it's hot. The room was not equipped with air conditioning but a fan is provided.

the Location, the Ambiente, the nature and the silence, and especially the workers were all extra ordinary nice and helpfull

Excellent breakfast on first day although rude waitress on second day as we were 5 minutes early. There had been no complaints we had paid our bill early.

Very steep stairs with narrow treads to bedrooms. Would be difficult for anyone with even a minor disability, particularly the second floor which has a steep, narrow winding staircase. We are fit and had difficulty manoeuvring our suitcases on the stairs. The standard double room we had was barely large enough for the bed. Suitcases had to be on the floor in the bathroom.

Excellent peaceful location just 20 mins drive from Maastricht. Very cosy place, personnel makes you feel like home. Very good breakfast.
