The breakfast is simple but good, nothing to say. The staff is very kind and helpful. Parking space is correct.

Globally, the hotel building is awful and the garden is very small and not attractive, especially compared to other hotels of La Fortuna where I stayed during other visits. The room is very primitive and dark (not much light). Some lamps do not work and the others are weak. Although oriented towards the volcano, the view is very limited

It was close to town and has a view of the volcano. There’s nothing wrong with it I just didn’t love it 🤷‍♀️ (we came here after Cabanas del Rio which is incredible if you’re looking in LF, probably why it didn’t seem so good)

This Hotel was small but clean and the staff was excellent. The grounds so beautifully kept and see the Volcano from our room. Would definitely recommend. 2 blocks from Main Street.

Loved this family hotel

Great location, walking distance to town, restaurants, supermarket, fruit stands, gift shops and short driving distance to main attractions. The property has a beautiful garden full of hummingbirds and other birds and 2 swimming pools within the garden with volcano view. Beyond friendly staff and very good breakfast. Cozy feeling. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not your place, but if you’re looking for comfort yet good value, this is your place.

I wish it had a luggage stand(s) or table for it, NOT A BIG DEAL but traveling with kids for 20 days that would have been helpful for me.

Everything was great. They showed us (several times) the Sloths in the trees on their property. We always had to check when we came and went. The pool was awesome after a hot day. Great view. Nice location to the town but still far enough away to be hidden.

We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Secreto. The service was good. People/staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served early enough for us to eat and then get picked up for our scheduled activities. The center of town was just a couple of blocks away, which was very convenient. If we ever return to La Fortuna, we will definitely stay here again. Another bonus is the beautiful flora and fauna around the property. We watched sloths and birds every day, and there's lovely flowers and other plants everywhere :)

We honestly don't have any complaints at all. We had already booked a separate hotel for our last two nights in La Fortuna, but we honestly would have rather been at Hotel Secreto the whole time.

Friendly staff, helpful in arranging rides and tours. Centrally located, an easy walk to many restaurants. Feels very safe. Clean room with views of the volcano from the balcony. Ample breakfast. Would definitely stay again

-Perfect location in La Fortuna -A lovely garden (including volcano view!) with pool and a small sitting area to relax -The room was clean and spacious with two beds -Breakfast was good (3 options to choose from) and staff were always friendly and attentive We were thinking between this hotel and another one that would have been 30$ more per night. We were absolutely satisfied with Secreto and were so glad we stayed here!

Everything was so clean! The staff was super friendly. I also really appreciated the bed bug protectors on the mattresses. The pool was also very beautiful. Central location. Everything was as advertised.

This was an outstanding Hotel. Was wonderful just a block and a half from the city center and the grounds were absolutely stunning. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff were extremely helpful. One staff member ELVER was very friendly and very very helpful. He greeted us at our transport. We were there was a sloth Elver gave us great advice throughout our stay there.

Amazing staff, so friendly and above and beyond helpful. Sloths in trees. 🦥 Staff loved nature and would go extra mile to share with you. Great advice on activities and dining. Fernanda was such a joy, and the man who was there the last night. So friendly and kind.

Lovely garden with large range of birds (bird feeder in view at breakfast). Great friendly and helpful staff. Room with sliding doors looking straight out to the garden. Great location in the town with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We used the shuttle bus, easyhop, to get to some of the attractions, and they had a pick up point very close by. We arrived with Interbus from Playa Hermosa, near Liberia and departed to Tortugeura with Exploradores and all went very smoothly.

Our room was large and comfortable with good a/c. The breakfast area is so pretty, and the pool is great too. The real standout here was the staff -- I didn't catch her name, but there was a woman working the first couple days of our stay who was so friendly and helpful arranging excursions and laundry for us. The location is really nice -- it's very quiet but just a couple blocks from town.

The location was great. Being able to walk into town to access other amenities was appreciated. The staff was amazing and so helpful. Their recommendations were great and over all the facility had everything we needed.

It was a beautiful stay! Excellent location, right in La Fortuna, but at the end of a lane so you felt secluded. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and everything was very clean. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to La Fortuna. Muchas gracias!
