We arrived to a really nice place with everything organized and clean. After settling in for the evening everything went crazy. Tenants upstairs were running up and down the stairs at 2:30 am and knocking on the doors which seemed like an eternity. We waited until the morning to notify the owner who stated that they had locked themselves out and contacted her. We we’re not looking for any reimbursement, just wondering what happened. Unfortunately the next evening at 12:30 pm I contacted the owner as she instructed if there were any other issues. AGAIN tenants upstairs were pacing the floors. I texted her and it did stop shortly after. Two nights of holiday not being able to sleep. I left a night earlier and am not looking for any type of refund. But maybe it should be disclosed as a communally rented property. Thanks

Great little rental steps to the ocean. Perfect for two people but probably a bit too crowded for more. Our only issue was the bathroom doors which are louvered and allow the other occupants in the unit to hear anything that might occur in there. Sort of uncomfortable and embarrassing. We turned on the shower when in there to add a small measure of privacy.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property again! Perfect location! Comfortable beds, very cozy. Beach music festival 23 a complete success with a perfect place to stay! Within one block of the famous Atlantic Beach circle. Thank you!!

Good location and convenient to everything. The stove however needs attention, the eyes would not set down level, maybe wrong size catch pans. I didn't do any cooking but would have been difficult if I had wanted to. I did rewarm leftovers and was able to get by.

The beach house was a perfect size for what we needed it for! The host was communicative and very helpful! Went above and beyond. And perfect beach access less than 30 seconds away!

This place is cute and is very close to the beach. However, we would probably not stay there again. The reasons are as follows: 1) The beds are terrible. They have giant indentations in the middle to the point where you are falling into your sleeping partner. It was difficult to get a good night's rest. 2) There were flies upon flies upon flies. We killed probably 40-50 of those little critters, who seemed to be getting in either through the bathroom drain or window, unabated. 3) The propane ran out on the first night--not a deal killer but a big bummer for grilling! : ( I left the noise from the upstairs apartment off the list b/c there really isn't anything one can do about that. However, the family staying there had friends over so there was a total of 4 adults and 3 kids (in an 800 sq. ft. apt.) running amok and making noise well into the night. We did enjoy the beach though and this place is very close to it. Perhaps a few modifications could make this a better VRBO rental. As VRBO owners ourselves for almost two decades, it was a little disappointing, but adequate for a quick beach trip.

I would definitely go there again.

Cute and updated little beach bungelow. Perfect location! As others have stated in their reviews, needs some hooks or a towel bar in the master bathroom as there is nowhere to hang your towels. A bedside table in the master bedroom and moving over the power outlet just a few inches so it’s usable would be very useful….or even a flat plug extension cord would work. Just those few quirky things but easy to work around. Super cute place! And very clean!

This is my second time staying at this property. Love everything about it. Perfect location, ample parking, very cute beachy decor, comfortable beds, great outside area. Will be back!!

Once we arrived we had an issue with the cleanliness of the couch after sending a message there was a person at the house in less than an hour to clean it. There was definitely palmetto bugs but this seem to be very common for the area due to the humidity, they were even seen in the street a block away. One issue we did have was the top bunk has a weight limit of 150lbs. This does not appear to be suitable for an adult but is listed for 5 people. However it would be very fitting for a family with younger children . We have stayed in many other places where they have bunkbeds that are able to hold larger weight capacities. Overall would just recommend more attention to detail when cleaning the house and also to include the outside area. They do have two camping chairs and one beach chair that are able to be used but appear to not have been used for extended period of time. Well stocked kitchen with two coffee maker options. Also for those renting the bottom unit when someone is above you it can be very noisy. When we rented it I must of not checked to see if it was a bottom unit.

This place was adorable. It had exactly what we needed to escape for a 4-day trip to the beach. Great location, beach access is steps away from the front door. Quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was nicely stocked. Beach towels and chairs are provided, too. Great stay, definitely want to return!

“Beach Life” was perfect for our traditional girls beach trip that has grown over the years from just 2 of us to 5. Myself, 2 adult daughters and 2 granddaughters were comfortable. The property’s also very clean. Kim provided everything we needed so we didn’t have to haul a lot of stuff. It is a very short and easy walk out onto the beach. I’d definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay here. Right next to beach access took less than five minutes to get on the beach and set up. Plenty of room for our family of 4. We cooked and ate out so we used all the amenities. Great location on quiet beach.

The home is in a fantastic spot. It's tiny but perfectly comfortable for a family of 4. We had some technical issues with the smart lock but the owners were very responsive and got us in right away. Everything is provided for, kitchen essentials, toiletries, bedding. We did bring out own stuff as I usually do because I like being prepared. Everything is clean, with exception to the beach roaches that come out at night and the tiny bugs that are able to get in the house. But it didn't bother us. The unit is very charming. Love that the owner put effort into making the unit as homey as possible. There is a grill outside but we didn't use it. There are little shops and restaurants within walking distance. I just absolutely love the distance of the house to the beach. I spent both sunrises at the beach. It was amazing. Thank you Kim and Sam for being awesome hosts! We'll be back for sure.

This property made me and my family feel at home and it was perfect because we had a short walk to the beach.

Great place! We enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time visiting Atlantic Beach. The location was excellent with the beach access across the street. The townhouse was a nice size for our family of four. There were a couple of roaches one dead, one scurrying, when we first arrived. We bought some bait stations and didn’t see anything for the rest of our stay. The larger bathroom had a slight odor issue to it, but overall the place was great and we would return to stay again.

Kim and her helper Ann Scott were great. Super close to the beach and definitely less than .25 miles away. Would come back again.

Pros: - good location, very close to the beach and stores. - clean - has pretty much all you need - good communication with the manager. Cons: -very small - leaving room can comfortably accommodate 2 people, Master bedroom: if you need to use bathroom at night you need to climb over your partner, There is no night table : you need to charge your phone on the sink or window still, if you need a drink of water at night you have to get up. Very small closet with one tiny shelf per person for all belongings. No hooks or towel bars in both bathrooms, Very hot if you don’t use fan, that makes noise like a taking off helicopter. Those doors provide absolutely no privacy. Overall we felt crammed.

This property was beautiful, had everything you needed, well decorated, steps from the beach. We had a great weekend and plan to stay here again next summer.

Great space for our group of four - nice kitchen & living room areas as well as plenty of space to hang out on the front porch. Being steps away from the beach was the best part!

Location was great, very convenient to beach and to town. We stayed in lower portion - it was very clean. Check in/check out was super easy. Only things I might suggest would be to replace mattress in queen room and beef up the AC a bit - bedrooms were a bit hot, even with fans going. Overall, it worked for what we needed it for, location was great, but I would not be able to do a long term stay without those adjustments.

Harder to get closer to the beach! The proximity to shopping and food is awesome also. Definitely a repeat rental.
