Colmar in August is a very busy place. This property is located between 5 and 10 minutes walking distance from the central (historic) section of the city. Interior condition and appointments are excellent with large clean rooms, all new appliances and good beds. Owners are extremely helpful pointing out their recommendations for your visit to Colmar including helping to navigate through auto parking issues.

August is warm in Colmar but cools down at night. Having windows open at night makes the apartment comfortable. There is some street noise until 11:00 pm on weekends. Probably not an issue in Fall, Winter, and Spring when Windows can be closed at night.

The appartment was spotlessly clean, with modern decor and high quality finish - and the hosts had thought of everything that you might need! Fantastic location, just a short walk to the centre of Colmar and a supermarket also few minutes walk away. Despite no allocated parking we had no trouble parking outside every time. We would highly recommend.

The flat was immaculate. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The kitchen, bath, and laundry were all fully stocked, clean and orderly. The location was perfect! In the center of everything. Within walking distance to a grocery and to all the Christmas markets. Marie and Jean-Michel were the best hosts! They met us to give us the keys to the apartment and gave us such a wonderful introductions to the city and suggestions on outings, Christmas markets, etc. They also showed up with festive goodies for us to snack on!!! They went way, way above and beyond. We felt so welcomed in their cozy apartment. It felt like home. It was a perfect place to stay with the most perfect hosts!!! We can't wait to go back!!

The apartment is spacious and extremely well and stylishly appointed. The apartment is in a beautiful older building but is totally modern I. Terms of all amenities. The cost was very good value and the location meant an easy walk to the historic part of Colmar. Street parking is available very close by (free from 7:00pm - 9:00 am). The hosts (Marie and John-Michel) met us personally and were so helpful and communicated in a very timely manner ensuring easy checkin. In summary the best apartment we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many good ones over many years.
