We dearly loved this house! Pool, hot tub, game room and views were great! Several not so good things that didn't really affect our stay....dishwashers are not good, pool radio doesn't work, and just having direct TV in the bedrooms was the pits. If you don't like stairs don't rent this one! Golf course view was nice, but this home is located a stones throw away from a 4 lane highway so there was ALWAYS traffic noise. But we got used to it. Sunrises were amazing! Drive to beach was about 2 minutes. Could've walked but didn't wanna cross 4 lanes of traffic. Dealing with Carolina Shores was great! We will most likely visit this house again! Had something for everyone.

It was perfect for my both my daughters and their friends. We had plenty of room so we weren’t on top off each other. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad and if we didn’t feel like making the walk we could just hang out at the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay again!

We spent a week here in August 2021 and definitely enjoyed our stay! We had 8 adults and 2 children and had more than enough space for everyone. The location was great - 4 min drive to the beach and close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, etc. The pool was a great size and we enjoyed it all week! The dual stoves/ovens in the kitchen came in handy a ton! There were a number of spiders on the tall ceilings of the top floor that freaked out the kids and a lot of flying bugs by the end of the week at the bottom floor entryway. We were careful to keep doors closed as much as possible, so not sure how they were getting in. Overall had a great week and would consider another stay here in the future!

This house was a great size to accommodate a large family vacation that included 10 adults, 3 kids and not to forget the dogs! Easy walk to the beach and loved having the pool/hot tub back at the house when we were beached out. Highly recommend this property!

We arrived to a very strong fish smell in basement and they sent a maintenance man who did some cleaning but we did purchase carpet powder, air spray and scented candles. You have to drive to beach because crossing a four lane highway too dangerous of a walk.

There was plenty of space for everyone. Unfortunately, it rained and stormed every day we were here. We made good use of the games in the house. We had a Family Olympics with pool, air hockey, and ping pong!! The only complaints I really have are: road noise really is an issue, some speakers for sound system didn't work, the patio furniture was not usable which was disappointing, and the pool table has seen better days. All in all we had a good time.

The house was very nice. We stayed for a week. and it had all the amenities given that we were mostly staying indoors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was enough rooms, linens and the kitchen was fully stocked. Also liked that there was an additional kitchenette in the first floor. For the price, it was really good value. And the property management people were very courteous, responsive and helpful.

This house is amazing! Our family was never at a loss for something to entertain them, the game rooms and pool were fantastic! Bedrooms were quiet and private, great for vacation sleeping. Kitchen is huge and very well equipped for any size family. The only drawback is the location near the Bypass but the road noise could be masked with the pool sound system if down at the pool area. Sitting on the upper deck is not really pleasant bc of the noise but you can see the ocean in the distance! Parking was plentiful but with the golf course neighboring the front side of the house, there is also a chance of your car (or you) being hit by an errant golf ball. There were a couple of close calls. Overall, we LOVED our vacation and despite the location, this house was fantastic in almost every way! I recommend this house for families with kids of all ages but particularly for teens. There was always something for them to do, it especially kept them off of their screens ALL week!! WIN WIN

The heated pool made the stay. We had mediocre weather but the heated pool kept us outside and having fun. The house was perfect in every other way. The road is a little loud on the outside but really did not bother us.

The main road was next to property and was very noisey so didnt use the hot tub or pool as much as we hoped. Also needed maintenance to take care of bugs and mildew smell.

It was a beautiful home better then in the pictures. Our first time to the outer banks and it did not disappoint. We could walk to the beach play in the pool close to all the exciting things this area has to offer.

So much room to work, and all the utensils we’d ever need. We enjoyed playing golf and it was so inexpensive. My one complaint is that there were no towels in the house. We expected bath towels hand towels and washcloths because there was nothing in the listing that indicated those were not included. We had our beach towels so it worked out OK, but I’ve never rented a house with no towels before. Also, we were surprised that the beds are unmade when we got there. The bed linens were on top of each bed but they weren’t made yet. Our overall rating of the house was excellent. Probably the nicest we’ve stayed in in the Outer Banks.

We picked this house because we had 14 of us coming on this trip. This house was absolutely perfect in every way for a large group to stay in. Checking in was a breeze and Jessica was very friendly, she even called a few hours before check in just to see how our trip was coming along. The house was very clean upon arrival. The kitchen set up makes it very easy to cook meals and clean up afterwards. Having 2 ovens and dish washers makes it so easy to have family meals, which were a highlight for us. The game areas were well utilized in to the late hours by kids and adults. The sound system that plays in the pool area and game area was well utilized as well. The pool area was perfect for our kids. Someone came and did a quick cleaning of it mid week which was nice. The outdoor shower is a nice touch as well. All gates leading in to the pool area have child locks. The house is stocked with anything you need to take trip to the beach. Beach access is a short drive. We found parking within 5 minutes of the house every time. From there you cross a 2 lane road that has pedestrian walk ways at every intersection and you are there. Everyone loved the views on the decks, many of us spent the mornings or part of the evening on one. A little bummed the view of the green on the 10th hole is partially blocked but it was fun watching the golfers in the morning. If anyone enjoys hunting for golf balls, take a walk at dusk or in the morning, you will find plenty. Found a few on our property. The house next to ours had their vehicles hit one morning, so if that is a concern for you, insider yourself warned. Johnston lane is a one way road, so turning left on to the main road can be tricky at times, but traffic overall isn’t too bad. One request would be recycling bins, we threw away so much trash. We will definitely look at staying here again when we come back to the OBX!!

It was our family's first time staying in the Outer Banks and we were not disappointed. Upon our arrival, the property smelled fresh and clean. You can tell the cleaning folks take great pride in their work to make this property stand out – impressive considering its size. The views of the ocean from the third floor are amazing! The pictures online don't do this property justice. This house had something for everyone to do if you decided to stay at home for a day or evening. Between the game room, pool and hot tub, our family had a tremendous time hanging out, playing games and hosting some epic pool parties. We even had a family pool tournament as well as some intense games of air hockey in the game room throughout the week. We had a couple issues throughout the week but we alerted the rental company immediately and they were able to help us get them resolved. The lights outside/around the pool kept shutting off after what seemed to be excess water splashing up on the patio. After going into the pool house, we were able to ensure the breaker didn’t trip so the pool lights would stay on for our late night pool volleyball tournaments. The other issue was that the washing machine decided to only wash laundry on the “light white” cycle during our stay. Maintenance came out and determined the nob on the washing machine needed replaced. The biggest drawback with this property is all the stairs. By the middle of the week, it was a bit hard on some folks but, fortunately, everybody made it through the week. Installing an elevator would be great but certainly not necessary. Between accommodating our large family, perfect beach weather the entire week and spending time with family we may only see once or twice a year, I think it's safe to say no one was disappointed with their first trip to the Outer Banks. As a previous renter stated, you really never know what you’re going to get just by looking at pictures online. But the pictures of this home don’t do it justice. Very well appointed, impeccable, clean. Well decorated, absolutely perfect. This was my first time in OBX so I don’t have anything to compare it to, however my entire group was very happy with the home and it’s location. Easy 8 minute walk to the beach. We’re not golfers, but location great for those who are. I had a bunch of young adults in the house, and they loved the amenities. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect house.
