elegant and stylish central location, old fashioned charm with up to date bathrooms

Location was great, right by the château, with a view over the square below and out to the chateau. Everything very accessible, chateau, gardens, cafes, restaurants etc. Room was very nice.

I booked this hotel as it said parking was available on site but when we arrived we were told the parking was full and told we could park in the public car park right next to the hotel. We did but this was more expensive than other car parks within walking distance of the hotel. If we'd known in advance that there was no parking at the hotel we probably would have parked elsewhere, as it was we were only staying a night and didn't want to waste time moving the car again. It could be expensive if you are staying multiple nights and the car park is full, perhaps contact the hotel before you arrive to check the situation? We couldn't work the air-conditioning during the night, so maybe ask the staff to explain that when they show you the room!

This hotel was literally across from the Chateau Fontainbleau, yet was actually not overpriced for what they delivered. It was very quiet, the room was quite spacious, and there was a beautiful courtyard. It was in walking distance of the town center, with access to restaurants, and shops, not to mention an excellent seafood restaurant literally across the street.

Breakfast was very expensive, so we did not partake.

breakfast was very good indeed, and the breakfast room overlooks the palace entrance, great views. Staff were really helpful, they let us leave our car in their little parking area while we visited the palace, after we had checked out.

I’ve been fortunate to have travelled a lot of the world, staying in some magnificent hotels! Hotèl de Londres is an absolute GEM of a find!!! from the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted by The Manager who ( spoke perfect English) he was So helpful,friendly and kind. we were able to put our car in the secured car park adjacent to hotel. we were taken to our delightful room facing the Versailles ( upgraded) for my birthday! The bed was fantastic!!! super comfy, crisp fresh bed linens … impeccable cleanliness … A beautiful bathroom with a rain soak shower! kettle - mini bar and snacks. The Hotel what a Dame of Grandeur!!!! Magnificent Decor we will return asap!! Thank you for a Wonderful stay !

Staff and owner would offer to help with anything! So helpful! Beautiful small hotel steps from the famous Chateau and from a dozen or more cafes and restaurants. Spotless inside, relaxing center courtyard. Start you trip to Burgundy wine country by heading out of Paris or CDG and go here first.

If you want an elegant 5 star mansion with spa, it’s not here. This is a beautiful place, passed down for generations with care, relaxed, and everything—even every light bulb—worked every time, something that seldom happens at a hotel.

Welcome, service, comfort, view, breakfast, assistance, carpark, family hotel of many generations so anecdotes of interest to share with guests. Top class..and ideal, not only for the Château de Fontainebleau but also for golfers.

Breakfast was not included in the price which is disappointing. Room was too hot and there is no lift to the top floor. when i arrive there was no one at reception and i had to wait for around 15 mins to get into the hotel as the door was locked!

The room was very large and comfortable with a view of the chateau. The staff were excellent and very helpful. And the air conditioning was heaven sent on a surprisingly hot day.

The view from the frontside is marvelous (Chateau de Fontainebleau) but due to the trafic a bit noisy.

Very central location opposite the Chateau and a short stroll to the local bars and restaurants. A charming hotel, very comfortable beds and very quiet at night. Breakfast is good value for money with lots of choice.

Everything was fine and I can't think of any useful feedback in this regard.

Amazing location - we managed to get a room with a great view! Kind staff who were incredibly helpful at all points. The hotel was clean, beautiful, and even had a cute deaf cat (the best part). We really loved our stay.

Excellent location directly opposite the palace in Fontainebleau. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and a good atmosphere in town. The hotel lounge is beautiful (traditional) and relaxed, and the staff will serve you drinks upon request in the lounge or the courtyard. Very friendly team and real professionals. I had the last/smallest room available and it was still excellent- comfortable, clean, cool with a/c (it was 35c outside!), and quiet despite overlooking the square.

It was not immediately obvious where to park, so this could be better highlighted on the property description.

wonderful host, great view on the château

A very good breakfast, really comfortable room overlooking the Chateaux which suited us as we were in Fontainebleu to play Jeu de Paume (real tennis). It was our second stay at Hotel de Londres
