Bed is extremely uncomfortable and no access to beach.

Fernando and the entertainment team were great.
Only thing I would say, Sakura wasn’t that good and we had to line up for a long time to make a reservation.

We loved the pool bar and everyone on staff. We liked the adults only pool. Cabs were convenient but expensive and you are not really close to anything.
We hated the food. When I read about it in other reviews I thought they must be snobby. But it is bland, Like think about the worst school lunch you ever had. We had a pretty nice meal at Pez Vela, but no salt was provided. In fact it was difficult to get anything (ketchup, salt and pepper, hot sauce) at any of the restaurants.
We liked that there was an adults only area. But El Beso was just a small part of a big resort filled with children..
We did not like how hard it was for the resort to accommodate our large group. For example, they wouldn't move tables together at the restaurants
If you like wine bring your own. If you like top shelf liquor byo. If you like middle shelf liquor you have to ask. I.e. if you order rum punch you will get well drinks that are sub-par unless you ask for Bacardi or Malibu.

Everyone in my family just said in unison Mike’s Coffee House! so clearly we loved that. Overall, it was a lovely resort for the price point, solid mid-range. It took us a few days to settle in and there were some bumps in the road figuring out how to get in to restaurants when they showed no reservations and working out what was going to be closed on what days, it was our first time in an all inclusive. They, like most of the world, are suffering from a shortage of staff and yes this causes some issues but the staff that are there are trying really hard to give everyone a great experience. overall a lovely week and we’d do an all inclusive again. The gift shop and the tours desk located by the beach, not in the lobby, we’re both exceptional better than what is on offer in downtown Playa.
There was a very hard upsell at the beginning and that was a big turn off. Things in the room were broken down and we reported them and they weren’t remedied which was annoying. There was a big keffufle for the NYE dinner that many many guests couldn’t get reservations and were being upsold expensive dinners and in the end the included dinner was easily available, better communication and planning would have sold this.

The location was a bit remote. The breakfast was very mediocre and the customer service in the entire resort was bad. The employees were rude and nearly each time when going to one of the restaurants we had to wait 10-15mins before we were served.
Also the app to see about the activities or when a restaurant is open/closed did not work.
Also the all inclusive did not include all the drinks and food. For many things you had to pay extra.
Overall, not a nice experience at all and would not recommend going to this resort.

Nothing really.
The facilites, the food, drinks and staff were poor and really bad.
The bedroom had a ceiling leak. The pool needs to be cleaned, the water looked green and the floor inside the pool and outside needs to be changed, it is impossible to walk barefooted.
The staff attention and service was poor and rude, specially at the restaurants, they didn't serve all our food.
The food and drinks, are cheap and nasty.

The foam pool party at el beso was a lot of fun. They have the staff come by and do a show to entertain the guests. They also had a club like area near the front of the resort on Friday night when we arrived.
The food was terrible!! The beach was full of rocks. The service at the pool party was very slow. Nobody comes to take your order at the beach. The staff tricks you into getting a sales presentation for their timeshare by claiming you will get two massage coupons. They don't tell you the massage coupons are for 30% off a massage.
During breakfast and lunch, all of the restaurants were closed and you were forced to go to the buffet. The buffet only has cheap cafeteria food and very few options. The buffet was overcrowded and the plates of food were normally gone. In the morning, the scrambled eggs were all overcooked and dry. There was no breakfast sausage or meat other than bacon. The bacon seems to be steamed in a large pan. I really think it was a different part of the pig because it was really mushy and different. Unless you like filling your plate with sweets, you won't have much a breakfast.. The lunch was terrible. The was only vegetable pizza with no meat options. The hamburgers were spongy and chewy and had the consistency of boiled meat. All of the food was cheap cafeteria food. For dinner, we waited over 30 minutes to get into their Mexican restaurant. They only had vegan tacos and a couple of other non meat options. We had to buy a 600 peso bottle of wine to get some meat and waited nearly an hour at the restaurant to get our food. We went to the dinner the next day and were treated to the same cafeteria burgers that we were given for lunch.

The pools are nice. the entertainment team is first class! there was alway something going on at the pools and the night show in the Theater where awesome!
the room was a nice room but had moldy (closed up)smell to it. it might be just us but we didn’t let very well at all. I can’t just put my finger on way that was. the bottom of the pools was like sandpaper and would tear my feet up doing activities in the pool.

The property is big with great restaurants in addition to the normal buffet. The bowling alley was also very fun. Loved the experience at the Bluemoon restaurant with all their staff.
The staff at the main buffet singled my boyfriend and I out several times - the first time I was wearing dress shorts and a crop top, the lady then I front of everyone told me I need to wear a blouse eating at the restaurant. walking into the place there were men with shirts open which exposed their bellies and nipples! There were girls in there with bikinis and see through coverings and girls with even shorter crop tops than me and even if active sports gear revealing more than me. I was in fact dressed the most appropriately. The second time my boyfriend who was wearing a long sleeve shirt, long pants and dress shoes was told all his buttons need to be buttoned up (he had 4 buttons done up of 6). meanwhile there are plenty of men going directly against the dress code such as sleeveless wife beater type tank tops. We were definitely not exposing more than anyone else there yet the staff felt the need to embarrass us in front of other guests. Will not return, we are very experienced in dress codes and found this to turn us off our meals and make us feel very bad at a beach resort where we are trying to relax.
in addition we walked into the gym where a staff member rudely told us to sign in without greeting us. He with a very condescending tone told my boyfriend to sign in. of course we did but noticed he did not approach any of the other 10 plus people that arrived after us.
I understand rules but these need to apply to everyone instead of singling out people at the resort.
The menus of cocktails are also posted online, when in reality the bars are not equipped to serve these cocktails advertised and they have never seen these recipes in fact.

The cleaning staff was great!
Our room didn't have AC for the first two nights, and they kept sending people to fix the problem instead of offering to switch rooms. The food was basic, with no flavour. They trick client's into a 3-hour meeting to buy a timeshare.

We book this hotel for our honeymoon, it was better than expected, the hotel facilities are beautiful. The food in the buffet was spectacular. The staff attention was perfect, we had a good welcoming with Peter the concierge which recommended us all the restaurants in the hotel! Thank you Peter for your help!
We had problems with booking the restaurants, you should book everyday for the night meal, even if we tried really early there were no spaces. We missed two of the good ones because we never find available spots. Also, all the available slots were too early (6:30pm). While it is stated it is “adults only”, only the part of this building is adults only, other families with kids will stay in a different building and all common spaces are shared (except for the pool and building).

Off season prices are really worth it. I would not pay full price. It is a bit confusing when you first get there, and staff doesn't really explain everything.
Blue Moon restaurant dinner was amazing though! Buffet dinner good, but average.

the multiple pools
the cleanliness of the room, will post pictures on trip advisor. hairs in the bathroom, no mini bar as advertised , no towel unless requested, staff isn’t the nicest very condescending. Also this resort has policies listed in booking.com, but when you arrive in person they switch up and do not follow listed policies. they treat you like an imbecile for pulling up the website and showing them. check in is horrendous it took forever and no drinks were offered. I’ve been to Mexico many times and will not be returning to this resort. there’s a reason why the price is so discounted. do yourself a favor spend that fee extra $100 and stay at a quality resort !!

Our waiter, Rudy at the Blue Moon was exceptional! He was the highlight of our stay because there wasn't anything else good I could say about this resort.
THIS IS NOT ADULTS ONLY!!! The whole reason I booked here was because it say's "adults only". NO, there were kids everywhere at this resort. Our room was across from the kids activity pool and all I could hear every day was the staff entertaining them at the pool
