Our bathroom toilet didn't flush properly so right after getting into the room and flushing the toilet I noticed paper. I knew it didn't seem to work properly but I hoped for the best. Sure enough when the second person, my mother, used the washroom the toilet didn't flush and I had to call for a plunger, then I had to plunge the toilet and then I left the plunger in the hallway hoping nobody else would see it.

Convenient location near the QEW Highway Breakfast staff was very friendly.

They put me in room 109 in the lower section of the hotel. .When I checked in Ivwasvtold this was the only room available at the stated price of $170 which included a small breakfast. There was a constant loud hum and vibration .made by electric equipment in the basement beneath my room which kept me awake most of the night. Even silicone ear plugs would not block the noise. I was too exhausted to ask for a room change in the middle of the night. I complained to front desk staff the next morning. I was informed that they were aware of the problem but some clients didn't complain. I was referred to the sales manager by telephone. I requested a refund. The manager offered me an upgrade on my next stay but I declined and again asked for a refund of the $170 charge which was was too high to begin with for this hotel.for a standard and drabby rundown room. After a few days he told me he would send me a loyalty card with enough points for a "free" stay on my next visit. I got the card a few days after in the mail. They should take that room out of service or warn clients ahead of time. Front desk staff should be authorized to deal with the problem on the spot and not force me to chase after the sales manager.

Nice hotel, extremely pleasant staff! Breakfast was good enough as it is just continental. We liked the location too

The rooms are a little dated and not the cleanest but not disgusting. We were happy with it. Wish it was a little cheaper for what we got

The hotel can make a greater effort to reduce waste. The coffee set up in the room needs to be changed. So much plastic. I recommend having ceramic cups to start.

The breakfast was good

There were hidden fees that we were not made aware of until we checked in.

Power went out for the whole night. I understand that this was outside of hotel's control, but their lack of accommodation and empathy reflected how poorly managed the facility was. The alarms were on through the night, while the lights, heat and AC were all out of commission. Management refused to make any accommodation despite a completely sleepless night. Would not go back to the hotel chain

I stayed there for my wedding night There was hair in my shower and sink… Tiles were cracked and room didn’t feel very clean…

Clean, comfortable, safe, microwave, well serviced. Good value.

Breakfast was a disappointment. TV reception was analog.

The virw of the lake is fantastic. Great pool.
