The whole experience was enjoyable. The property was well maintained and lovely. I also liked the patio seating and view.

Food selections could've been more casual and were expensive. Rooms charges were expensive for the short stay we had at this property.

We have been stayed at this property many times even before the new management during pandemic era

Location is only slightly outside the busy area of niagara on the lake

My partner and I arrived to the Riverbend Inn and Vineyard in the evening and were absolutely starving. We politely asked if there was any food available or still being served. A very rude middle aged woman with short blonde hair abruptly informed us that the kitchen was closed. Upon us asking if there were any other options available, even a simple sandwich or salad, she proceeded to again rudely and dismissively repeat the same sentence, which essentially comprised of "No, the kitchen is closed". We had not eaten in hours after a lovely day at the Falls and even a piece of fruit, some crisps or packaged snack would have sufficed until the morning and check-out. We even asked if there was anywhere nearby that may still be serving food and she was again rudely dismissive, uninterested and looking to cut contact with us. On walking back to the reception area, I noticed that there were snacks available (for sale, if I remember correctly). Why was this not offered as a solution, at he very least? I have stayed at many lovely hotels around the world and never have I been spoke to or treated in such an offensive and aggressive manner. It is clear that this woman does not belong in a customer facing role, or at the very least, requires heavy customer service training from management. As a complete contrast, a lovely gentleman staff member who witnessed this ordeal, caught up with us before we left the bar/restaurant area and offered us some tips of what eateries may be open nearby. Thank you to him, for his professionalism and kindness.

Everything was excellent, loved the architectural qualities the building had withheld and the restaurant/outdoor patio was out of this world!
