Perfect base for a stay in Gravenhurst, right by the lake and at the end of the lakeside boardwalk. Large suite which meant plenty of room for our 17 year old daughter on the sofa bed in the sitting room. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the breakfasts and we enjoyed having the pool and gym available (some of us made more use of these than others!) Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

There is no space to just sit by the water. Mind you - the shorelines are rocky

Breakfast was EXTREMELY disappointing. Arriving at dining room 30 minutes before the end of breakfast there was ZERO coffee, bagels, muffins, danishes, yogurt, pancakes ...
I stopped at a Tims on the way home. When I shared this experience with the manager, her initial response was "thanks for bringing this to my attention "

Had an extra surprise town tax added to my bill that Booking.com didn’t mention of $75!!
There was a barking dog on our floor, I think pets should at least have to be trained to stay at a hotel. For a total of $500 a night it was a waste of our vacation. They shouldn’t charge that kind of money without having more amenities available.

We loved our room, the breakfast was great lots of variety and the location was beautiful.
The only things that could use some improvement were the pool was cold and the pillows weren't very comfortable. Other than that we loved it :)

There was not much that we didn't like except for a few details
Central air conditioning was noisy in the bedroom. Toilet paper harsh, wasn't very soft, I ended up going to the store and buying my own. The dog in the next room barked a lot.

views are beautiful, staff was super friendly
stay away from the breakfast if possible, my boyfriend was extremely ill after eating there one day. we avoided it the rest of our trip!
