We have stayed at this location when we visit for the last 30 years. Our room is always clean and comfortable. The decor in the refurbished room was very nice this visit. The breakfast was very good and much better than most places we have stayed. The staff was lovely and we felt well looked after. The location is great as it is close to my parents.

The only thing I would say is that the staff would speak another language in front customers. Although the staff was great in every other way, this left me feeling uncomfortable.

The breakfast was the best I’ve seen in any “free breakfast” type of hotel. The best ever. Also very clean and tidy. Exceptional.

The ONLY thing I found lacking was the front desk staff. I found them to be strangely dour.

A little pricey

This was worst hotel stay I have ever had - in fact I have never written a negative review of any hotel before now. The Friday night we stayed the hotel was hosting multiple youth hockey teams for a tournament. A large, rowdy group of hockey parents were drinking and shouting in the lobby/breakfast area and while this went down players were running amok slamming doors and acting up in the hallways - for hours! I have no issue with groups enjoying themselves but it was Bedlam. Even if we had wanted to enjoy any of the hotels amenities that would have been impossible. After multiple calls to the front desk they said a security guard was coming over and while things finally settled down after 10 pm rest that night was ruined by the perhaps young and underprepared hotel staff not managing an out of control situation sooner and better. It was not professional or respectful of other guests - in our case guests catching an early flight from Abbotsford Airport.

bed was very comfortable. I had requested a quiet room and we were not disappointed. Breakfast was good. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

It would have nice to have a connecting walkway to go to breakfast. The wind was bitter cold & blew through the room each time a new guest arrived.

Great location, close to everything we were in town for. Staff was very friendly and made us feel at home.

On site restaurant was slow and over priced. We had room right next to highway so very noisy. Will stay here again but be sure to ask for room away from the highway.
