Could hear people moving above us in our room but it is an old hotel.

The breakfast was excellent for the price. $8.49 for bacon, eggs, home fries, melon, and toast. Lovely server- Cheryl. The dining room was 1924 style like the inn itself.

Requested a room near elevator for seniors, and called to confirm. Upon checkin my father had to walk half way between the two closest elevators. A rather long walk for disabled seniors.

The building is quite impressive , and our room was quiet and comfortable.
We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, which is beautiful and after dinner took a walk around the lake which was very pleasant. Good place to stay as we were passing through.,
Our room was located at the rear of the building, quite a hike from the main reception but there was a lift.

Had the option of an excellent, included continental style breakfast or something delicious from the menu. Got a suite overlooking the forest and lake for a very reasonable price. Has the charm of an old world hotel, but with generously sized guest rooms.

I liked the architecture and cosiness. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff accommodating.
The hotel should amp up its history and role in Cornerbrook with more historic features and furniture in main hall, and create more ambiance.

The room looked fairly clean. I did find a sock at the foot of the bed (floor) that must have been left by a previous quest that the cleaner did not get
