When looking for a cheap and basic accomodation and there are no hostels around this is a very good alternative.
The plus, you get your own room for the price of a dorm in a hostel. That was the first time in a student campus for me and I was not disapointed at all !
The location is not the best when you don't have a car and when it's hard to walk to the city center due to heavy rain but such a place is usually not in the center so nothing to really complain about.

The room was what you would expect for a college dorm. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet and a good place to overnight after the ferry trip to Newfoundland
A little hard to find but that was due to construction that was probably temporary

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, full sized fridge in the room.

Extra-ordinary check-in/check-out experience, room and shared bathroom very clean
Uncomfortable bed, very basic, fridge and freezer but no chance to cook and no microwave.

Room was clean, comfortable and kitchen accommodations were lovely. The young man at the desk was helpful.
It was difficult to find our room. Construction on the site also made parking difficult. There was a noisy hockey group on the same floor. Fortunately, campus security came and quieted them so we were able to sleep.

It was super affordable and had kitchen facilities where it was easy to full water bottles, organize food bags, etc. They also had great flexibility on check in times, which you don’t get at the bed and breakfasts I’ve been going to otherwise.
There was a mixup with my keys, but it happens. Not a crisis and was remedied immediately.

We stayed in a quad chalet, and it was perfect for our group, as it had 1.5 baths and a kitchen. We would definitely stay in a chalet upon return to Corner Brook.

the apartment-style accommodations
there was a lot of stairs to get to the building plus they put us on the top floor - so that was even more stairs to navigate with a lot of luggage.
there was a lot of ants around - some even in the apartment

Staff very helpful and nice. Very good WiFi connexion as well.
Could have been a little bit more clean and bed are pretty small, but we have to keep in mind that it is a school residence.

Location was perfect. Room was simple and just what I needed

We needed a room at the last minute and staff was very accommodating. Lots of space for us to spread out when traveling as a family. Lots of privacy.
I would say I didn't like anything... but it's university living so pretty basic!

I was late checking in and the staff could not have been more helpful and flexible! Room was clean and very functional :)
