The view on the lake, the cleanliness of the house and the breakfast.

No shower. Only a bath.

Location was fantastic.

Martine, the owner is always there for you, very helpful and nice. The location is excellent with great views of the lake, close to Zoo Sauvage, Val- Jalbert and Troy de la fee. Public beach is good and is around 20 min walk from the property. The kitchen is very well equipped

It is an older property with poor isolation. We heard the neighbours below, and I am sure they heard us. It may get hot during summertime since air condition is in one room only.

There were no sheets for my little girl :( No hand soap in the bathroom, no glass in the kitchen. I would have expected touristic information and help from the host. Poor host attitude. I felt she was only renting to make money.

This place has seen better days. The owner was not particularly friendly upon check in (she warmed up a bit the next day), the whole place smelled of cooking (not in a good way), the room was tired (stained sheets, carpet) and old. It had not been renovated since the 60's and not well maintained. We were upgraded to a lake view room which would have been nice had we been able to see out the window (screen full of cobwebs, etc.). A shame because the house could really be something but after years of neglect, poor or no renovations, etc. it is in a sad state of decline. I would not go back. The breakfast was ok.

Everything. It needs to be better insulated against sound (we could hear the owner's watching TV from downstairs) and smells (we could smell everything from the kitchen), needs better wifi (did not reach our room completely), needs to be cleaner (stains everywhere), better maintained (no real shower, no plug to take a bath, tiny scratchy towels), peeling paint, etc. A house like this is a lot to maintain and must be expensive to care for but this is a business and the level of service offered should be at a minimum. It simply is not up to par with other B&Bs and hotels in the Lac Saint Jean area. The house is right on the lake, which is beautiful.
