The location was fine and the price was right.

Dated, older motel, but they’ve renovated rooms to an acceptable degree; the shower was too low for tall bathers.

Owner was friendly and accommodating. The place was clean.

Cleanliness

The full kitchen was really nice to have.

Tv could be larger but not a big deal

The motel was clean and the room large enough for a Family of 4 for a short stay. The motel is a 5 minute walk to the beach.

I did not like that the price booked did not include taxes and the breakfast was not included due to covid. This was in the fine print and easy to miss. I was surprised by the final amount compared to what I thought I booked. Also, I had to pay the full amount at check-in. At one point, we were considering leaving a day early and not sure how that would have been handled.

The location

We were first given a room that had a very disgusting odour. When we asked to be relocated to another room, the front desk guy told us that “it is just the smell of cooked food” & then said “I can’t do anything about it” in a gruff tone. Then he told us he doesn’t have any other room available so we asked for a refund as we were unwilling to sleep in a room that had such a disgusting odour. First, he refunded our money, but as we were loading our luggage in our car, he came back and said “I have another room available.” We checked the room and it was clean so we decided to stay as the motel is located walking distance to the beach. Overall the motel is clean but that one room #29 shouldn’t be assigned to any guests without proper sanitization to remove the offending odour!

Staff was friendly and courteous, location was good, close to beach, room was spacious, and air-conditioning worked well.

Room rate was expensive given it's a motel rating. Beds were awfully soft and made squeaky sounds every time you move. Oven's door does not open/close properly (as if it was going to fall off), stove top only had 2 burners working, Small fridge (minimal freezer compartment in it) given it's a family suite. Cutlery, glasses, mugs, pans, were not very clean. Not much counter top space to put draining board for washing, and using toaster oven. Bathroom had spider webs around light fixture, bathroom fan was dirty, and spider mites noted on walls...overall, cleanliness could be better :(

Central location. Clean. Less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. Very friendly staff who you constantly see cleaning and maintaining the landscape of the property.

Ac was dirty looked like has not been cleaned for a year. the oven was dirty when we checked in looked like a puddle of grease at the bottom and the racks also dirty. I talked to front desk about it and he said he would have some one clean it. Came back to our room later and checked still was not cleaned neither was the ac I talked to the house keeper about both and she said she’d clean it. Two days later still nothing. Was not taken care of our whole stay. The only reason I said anything was because I’ve been a housekeeper for over 10 years and a housekeeper supervisor. I would’ve never sent any client to a room like that. Fridge worked but had no handle to open it and stove worked but was ancient and dirty. When asked how was our stay when we checked out I said it was alright felt like there was no point of telling him how it really was because they did not seem to care during our stay. washers were not working the whole stay as well. Beds were never changed. We were there mon to sat. Felt like we over paid for our stay.

It was close to the beach,clean and quiet

Water pressure could be better, but it was fine for our needs.
