New renovated room

Everything was good

The property is going through construction. Construction workers start at 8 am daily and the water service could be interrupted, meaning no shower or flushing toilet. This hotel should have just closed until construction was completed. The hotel or Booking.com should have a NOTICE in place for any property under construction so that customers are fairly warned and can choose better accommodations. How do I get a refund of my 2 night stay that cost me over 500. Dollars at this construction site?

The room itself was clean, cool, and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the staff personable.

The construction made only one elevator functional to our floor (6). We weren’t notified upon checking in.

Parking is very limited if you come back to the hotel at late night.

close to freeway, good view and quiet area ( even there is renovating going on at this location)

After a horrible situation at 2 previous locations with Booking.com, I finally got in touch with Double Tree through booking.com and they were amazing in understanding my situation and helped me get checked in early without an early check in fee.

Nothing

No one was at the registration desk. We had to get someone from the restaurant to find someone to register us. The hotel was drab, old, the bathroom faucets were difficult to operate and there was barely enough hot water.
