Our view was gorgeous there was a lot to do right at the resort and staff was friendly

I was not able to take a hot shower all weekend. We got 2 minutes of Luke warm water if we were lucky. There was little centipedes on our bathroom floor in the corner along with cobwebs and one of the outlets behind the bed was hanging out of the wall.

The ocean view, hot tub, rooms were really nice.

Hot tub should have a gazebo or canopy above it when it rains.

The view from our room was beautiful. The resort is way back in the forest. Beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was the best we have had on our trip, everything you could think of. Beds were very comfortable. Great water pressure. Room was quiet except when the neighbor showered.

Mostly clean but very old place. Didn't quite look like photos. The door frame was completely rusted around. There were cobwebs and spiders and even a worm in the bathroom. No fan in the bathroom. Paint was scratched and peeling in room. The neighbor's shower was so loud we couldn't hear the TV. No hot water for a long time after the first person takes a shower. Bathroom sink was a pedistal with no room for anything. And it moved. No microwave. Breakfast was up a steep hill so had to drive to it. Room was not worth the price paid.

Beautiful setting. Has many amenities (bikes, kayaks and canoes, mini golf, outdoor hot tub) that we didn’t take advantage of due to lack of time. Has a “real” complimentary breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, bagels, sweet stuff, fruit, dry cereals, hot oatmeal packets, OJ, cranberry juice, coffee and tea.

Would have liked a microwave in the room. There was no daily housekeeping but you submit a list of what you need and it is quickly delivered to your room.

I really enjoyed the location and our room was an end unit overlooking the harbor. We woke up to seals swimming by which was great! They also include a buffet breakfast which I'm not usually a fan of, but it was really good. We enjoyed the hot tub every night. The included picture is the view from the room.

Now for the things that need attention. I think the rooms need to be updated stat! We went in September so we knew it would be a little chilly but there are no thermostats., you need to find each electric heater and adjust it that way. Also, both heaters felt like they were gonna pop off the wall. The bed seemed comfortable but you could tell it needs to be replaced. If they were to remodel, this place would be a hidden gem.

Breakfast was very good, loved the outside eating area, loved that kayaking/canoeing was so easily available (and included!). We had a wonderful water view. Location very good to town. We would come here again!

There's was basically no service. No maid service, no replacement of breakfast food or coffee when empty, and no towels at the pool, both times we went, with no one to get them from. When we asked for a recommendation for dinner at 7 pm our first night, we were told to go to one restaurant, no reservation needed. When we arrived at 7, they were not taking customers and closing soon.

The breakfast was excellent and management was great. The view from the room was very nice and the manager was very nice. The room was not quite what we had expected from what was pictured on line. The room was clean and ok size, but the bathroom was very small and the room needs a little updating. The description says there is a coffee pot, but in reality there is a small cup heating apparatus. I would like to see possibly having some plastic eating utensils left in the room for when you might bring take out home to your room.

The price was a little high, coffee maker, small bathroom, the pathway to the stairs was a little iffy and the broken curtain

Overall the resort is very run down and the room are dark and depressing. Not enough light to apply makeup. The TVS are old and don't support streaming. Lack of housekeeping was a negative. I understand that in the height of the pandemic many hotels suspended cleaning services, but it shouldn't be a permanent thing, perhaps it should be available if guests are comfortable with it. Most hotels are back to providing housekeeping in my experience.

Secluded location, on the water

At night, very very dark, no lights along paved driveway areas, no lights by the pool & mini golf. such a huge property & such a small pool, could not swim over crowded with small children. Could not play basketball, both backboards were broken, they looked like they were falling off & that they have been in this condition for quite some time. Lawn area by the tennis/basketball court under utilized. Could be a great volleyball area. Got tobreakfast at 9:00am there was no bacon left, two sausages & several spoon full of scrambled egg left. Waited 5 minutes, no one came out from kitchen to check, we left & had a wonderful breakfast in Boothbay Harbor.

I liked the view from the room, the room was clean and offered what was expected for amenities. Breakfast was close by and was good each day. Although I didn't use, the use of canoes and kayaks was great for the grandkids.

Pool could have been a bit cleaner and had steps to enter and not just the ladder. Hot tub wasn't clean enough either. When eating outside there were a lot of wasps flying around which also made it into the breakfast room. First day, the air conditioner could not keep up with cooling the room. Would have been fine if they had let it run all day, as the temps were quite high. After that it worked fine.

View was spectacular. Breakfast was very hearty. I liked that daily housekeeping was optional based on your needs.
