A fantastic location if you’re travelling on the ferry to Vancouver Island. The manager Ted was very helpful and hospitable. The shared facilities are fantastic- very comfortable and clean.

Owner yelled at me upon arrival for walking on something in the driveway in wich I am still not shure what it was. The very impolitely tells me
to leave my shoes outside. Then I find some stranger standing in the suite we rented. It was very unclear how shared this house is with a bunch of strangers. The kids were scared of him so they didnt want to come out of the vehicle. So we just left. Then later he charges me for the room and then steals extra money from my credit card.
So a very rude thief at that.
This person should not be a host!

Everything was convenient and clean. It was really close to the ferry terminal which was excellent for us since we took the first ferry of the day. The host was very friendly.
I probably should have asked for a main floor room since I have some difficulty with stairs. Although I was okay with sharing a bathroom, I didn't like being asked to clean the bathroom. I feel that should not be a request when you pay a lot for a room as it is. We left it tidy and that should be enough.

Great option if you are looking for more space and amenities than a hotel would offer. It is a huge house with 12 or so rooms. I mét some other nice folks staying. There is a full house (kitchen, fridge, a few dining tables, living room with a big tv). Has a Welcoming feel. Our on site host was kind, friendly and helpful and really seems to enjoy his job.
Air conditioning in the bedroom would have been nice, but there was a fan that could be moved around where you want it.

Clean and relaxing ambiance
Time consuming when finding the location because when you use the GPS its totally different from where it use to be.
I searched the exact address but it will lead you to a dead end property (very scary and unsafe). So what we did is to use the alternate route.

Very comfortable beds. The house was beautiful too.
More information on what areas of the house were accessible, such as the kitchen. I wasn't sure which rooms were private.

Ted was a great host! Waited for our very late arrival to welcome us. Truly exceptional!

It's reasonable price.
The tenants and the cleaner are kind and friendly.
This is not for the family with kids.
Shared washroom is not good for our family. They have Two fridge and both were full packed with rotten stuff that's been there for we dont know when.
The toilet bowl and cover looks dirty because it's old.
The washer and dryer is no good too. It took us time to do our laundry.

The manager was super helpful and kind. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and safe. Good safety locks. Very clean and Polite. Very close to central transportation and towns. Super close to a lovely mall and the ferry terminal. The manager even offered to collect us the first night.

Self-check in. Clean and very close to ferry to Vancouver Island. For just a room and shared bathroom it seems overpriced. We were not sure if we could use the kitchen as it seemed there were long term tenants there. If you just need a room for the night, then very good.

I didn't like anything about this place. It is dark, creepy, there was a fridge in common that was full of random stuff.
This place is closer to a homeless shelter than a motel. No staff around, it is self service. The one bathroom that I found was also the laundry room. Random people doing dishes at 2-3 in the morning in the common area. Window was open and people were smoking outside so the smoke ended up in room. No T.V. in room, no temperature control. Dark hallways, walls are paper thin-can hear everything. Towels looked questionable.
This place is not for everyone.

overall clean, but the room assigned was not done when we arrived.
it was advertised at $96, but charged my $162!!!!!

it is a B&B, but really only one “B”. not breakfast.

The comfort of your stay here will depend on who else is in the house. My room was a comfortable size and the bed was very comfortable. Location to ferry was as close as I needed/wanted it to be for an early departure.

It was nice and close to the ferry, so getting up and driving to the ferry was a breeze. The host was super accommodating about a late check-in. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
The shared bathrooms were not great, but they were clean inside. Just meant that every time someone would get up to use the bathroom or shower you would here it, or you would have to plan your bathroom visits accordingly.

The beds were comfy.
Unable to access the door at night due to code that was given not working. If the gentleman that had another suite didn't let us in we would have been locked out the night we wanted to stay.

the kitchen was not clean. the fridge was particularly dirty with food items that should have been thrown out. the cupboards were sticky dusty on the outside. the bathroom was very dated and not in a good way.
