the staff is very helpful. every employee I encountered was so polite and helpful

the only thing to make it better would be a pool so you can swim in the pool as well but honestly it forced us to spend even more time at the beach was not a bad thing!

Fantastic location. Lovely rooms and really comfy bed. I didn't have a car but was able to walk to restaurants/ cafes. Staff all welcoming and helpful.

The TV in my room didn't work, an issue that the staff were aware of but still put me in the room. My room was next door to the office so unfortunately experienced some noise in the night from cleaning staff.

fabulous location. You're by the sea and close to a couple of good restaurants. Walks on the beach, leisure time and relax in the lounge area. New rooms (the facility has been renovated about a year ago) with safe, refrigerator, coffee maker

How is it possible that in a newly renovated facility throughout the night and in every room there is the deafening noise of the central ventilation that came from the fans in the bathroom and there is no possibility to turn it down or off? We understand the needs but this hotel is one of the noisiest hotels we have slept in and this ruins everything. You don't hear the waves, you hear the ventilation. This is a big NO.

Could use a comfy chair in the room.

Location right on beach and walkable to many restaurants. Parking. Appreciated beach chairs, boards and umbrellas available for use. Espresso and sparkling water machines nice added value.

The location on the beach is wonderful. I've stayed at your property at least 3 times. This time I noticed the train much more significantly in Room 213, which is noisy. Ear plugs are a requirement for sleeping in the evening. I love the espresso machine for my morning coffee. I only wish the property had a pool.

Del Mar Beach Hotel was an excellent choice for our family - My one requirement for this trip was that our hotel should be right on the beach without costing a fortune, and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. It was perfectly comfortable for my husband and myself and our toddler and close to all of the attractions we hoped to see while staying in the area. The facilities were very cute and recently updated. We loved it!

I think the daily cleaning could have been a bit more thorough, especially being in a sandy environment. It felt like there was still a bit of sand in the bedsheets after the cleaning crew came through. The trash pickup right outside our door at 6-7 am a few of the mornings wasn't terrible, but ideally would have been rescheduled to a more reasonable time.

You can't beat this location! Right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants - Poseidon and Jake's Del Mar are just steps away and both are fantastic!

The only thing that would make this property better is a pool and / or hot tub. Otherwise it was fantastic! We will be back again soon,

Missed by the staff the correct indication on where to park the car. In the end I’ve got two tickets in the same morning. I’ve showed them to the person at the desk that told me would contact their management to see if there was anything to do and I never got any contact from the hotel…

I loved the location. It's perfect. The rooms are great, and I appreciate the staff being informative about everything the hotel offers. I also love the sand removal brushes and mats at the doors, amazing!

I think of just a couple minor things that could be improved was the beach towels, they just seemed to always be out. And then, just the cleanliness of the back patio area, it could have been monitored a little bit more, there was always some sort of trash left out or something spilled on the ground.

Location was amazing for my kids.
