Location, restaurant, staff, and room

They do not serve toast or biscuits with breakfast buffet. Not everyone likes French toast or pancakes. For the price they charge, both should be on buffet!

I made reservations for 2 rooms, but your site only booked 1. Lucky, they had a room. Disappointed with your site.

Friendly staff, clean .great location

Only problem....no washcloths in the bathroom!! I was already in the shower. Simply made due after a 4 hour drive to get Johnstown. I immediately went to a graduation ceremony & BBQ for hours. Really wanted to get clean upon my arrival at the hotel. We called & was brought some right away.

The food was good in the restaurant. They didn't have cheap shampoo and soap in the shower. The bed was comfy.

When we arrived, we asked to have clean bedding, Joel (manager on duty) assured us that the rooms were "just cleaned and everything is new and fresh," however, when we pulled out the couch bed in BOTH rooms, the bedding inside was disgusting! There was even coins inside the one! There is NO WAY they were cleaned or changed. This leads me to believe that he lied about the regular bedding being clean as well. SO GROSS. They did bring us new bedding after we complained, but it should have been done in the first place. Also, when I booked my stay it said breakfast was included. However, we had 8 guests in the 2 rooms with parents and children and I got 3 breakfast coupons (after having to go down and ask for them and complain AGAIN! Not sure how 8 people eat on 3 breakfast coupons, but I will NEVER book at this Holiday Inn again.

We were not informed that there was a fee to park until we were checking out and charged for it.

Everything was great Lady In the bar very friendly. Enjoy spending the evening with family. We will return the end of the month.

Just one thing. Requested 2 beds. Had 1.

The location was great

I called the Hotel to make sure the pool was open before I booked a room for the night, the person I spoke with from the front desk told me Yes, our pool is open and closes at 11pm, I informed him I was renting a room so me and my kids specifically could swim and have a fun evening. We got to the Hotel, checked in went right to our room and changed into our swim suits, when we got down to the pool the door was locked and the lights were off, I walked up to the maintenance man and asked why the door was locked and he informed me the pool had been closed since the day before and wouldn't be opening till the next day sometime. I was extremely upset that I spent 125.00 for our hotel room for the night and I even like locally in the Johnstown area just so me and my kids could swim, made sure to call and check, was told "yes our pool is open" but the pool WAS CLOSED and had been since the day before and we couldn't even swim. Highly disappointed that I was lied to when I called the hotel and asked about the pool, the gentleman I spoke with on the phone is the same person that had checked me in at the front desk.

property was well maintained and recently updated. beds were comfortable but wish they were at least a queen. very close to our venue. could walk everywhere.

I had booked this property because they were supposed to have late night food. we attended a concert and wanted to be able to grab a bite after. Had to go to a different establishment about 3 blocks away.

Nothing, This property was not good. The staff was rude and slow and not helpful in knowing anything about the surrounding area.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean, including the bathroom which had amazing shower water pressure. The restaurant downstairs, while somewhat pricey provided an amazing dinner place. I was surprised when the breakfast that was included in our stay was in the same restaurant and only required a signature at the end of whichever breakfast you chose.

The room was just ok. The beds were comfortable.

The room I had booked was for disability/ tub easy access. The room we got was a standard, regular room. The tub only had one hand rail and no tub mat. I specifically chose this hotel with rooms for those with disabilities because I had a total knee replacement. The hotel staff was not accommodating and blew off my complaint. Parking was a nightmare. That evening, All the disability parking spots were taken. My friend had to park on the street. A very disappointing stay.

the staff at the front desk are terrible. I paid for the room and had breakfast included, I was the only customer at the front desk when I checked in so he was not busy. when I checked out they charged my credit card for meals. I told them that they were included in the price of my room. they looked on the computer and said I was correct. they did not give me paperwork showing that the additional charges would be dropped they said they would email me the information. they never emailed anything. possibly the front desk personnel and the manager have a little scam going on. I will contact IHG next and let them deal with the people working there.
