It was overall great!

A housekeeper made a very rude face like she was disgusted when i gave her the dirty towels . I’m not sure why she felt the need to do that because the towels weren’t stained at all, wouldn’t have been able to tell they were used anyways that’s the only problem i didn’t appreciate.

The change from Spectrum to Dish TV was a mistake. Available channels and reception with Dish was awful. Get Spectrum back. Visit family often and stay at this location. Never a problem before, but might consider a location with Spectrum next time.

Alice was the kindest, most enjoyable lady. She worked hard and kept up with the breakfast crowd. We were there four days for breakfast and she was there for three. You can really tell when she isn't working. That fourth day wasn't so good. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast. She is an asset to your staff! Also, Jennifer (manager) offered her own ROKU for us to view the PBR Nationals since the hotel didn't have CBS sports. She was very nice, and saved us having to go buy a tv to view it. Your front desk staff are all very friendly. I will not leave out the cleaning staff, as they were all friendly and hard working! We plan to come again next year!

The only thing I would suggest is to put some kind of non slip something in the shower. It was very slippery.

Breakfast was ok but Dennys is next door and I opted for Dennys. Coffee was good. Location was excellent as it was one left turn out parking lot straight to stock yards. Very simple and easy

No transportation to and from stock yards by hotel. That’s my only complaint.

When we got there to check in we were not informed about the $250 refundable deposit up front during check in. I booked our room a month in advance and paid the total stay about a week before we actually arrived. With a month gap I got no follow up emails or sms from Booking.com or the hotel about this upfront deposit. There was also nothing on the hotel website that said anything about a deposit. The worker checking us in was monotone and appeared to not necessarily enjoy her job. During check out my boyfriend and I waited at the desk for 10 minutes for somebody to show up. He even yelled out to get someone’s attention and we were responded with people laughing in the back room. I called the hotel number and waited another couple minutes for her to finally come out and answer the phone. Needless to say the room was great the breakfast was great but the service was slow and sloppy and lack of communication. The only bummer about the whole experience.
