New mattress, great shower, modern appliances and outlets

Nice and clean. Recently updated. Quiet hotel. Staff very friendly. Gave us our choice of which floor we'd like to be on. We were acknowledged each time we came through the lobby. Liked the 24/7 coffee in the lobby. We were within walking distance of the show we came to see at the Georgia Theater. The room was exceptionally well lit, spacious and comfortable.

Our room was too close to the ice maker. Starting at about 6am we could hear people getting ice. In future I'll remember to ask for a room far from the ice maker. One strange thing: instead of sample size shampoo/ conditioner/soap, there were pumps mounted by the sink and in the shower. This didn't affect me since we brought our own, but I would not want to use these open/ common use products.

The hotel in neat and clean. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably well equipped. The staff at the reception are quite helpful. The housekeeping services are also good.

The buffet breakfast served everyday is almost the same. So it becomes extremely monotonous as we stayed for ten days. The menu should vary from day to day.

Location to everything i need was great. Bed was comfy, TV was superb. Room had plenty of space. Parking was also convenient to room.

the no smoking in the room but i don’t think that is y’all’s fault.

Location was excellent walking distance to downtown, and the staff at reception were very helpful.

It was within walking distance of downtown Athens and that is always a huge plus! The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The room was small, the water pressure was very weak and there was NO counter space in the bathroom. None at all, which made it very difficult getting ready in the morning.

The elevators/ walk/ stairs

The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The location wasn't bad, it was good. I drove every where. It wasn't in the middle of town but it was right beside it. To far for us to walk. Breakfast look like your basic. We didn't get to try it. We were rushed.

The parking lot was not good. I drive a suv and I found there were spots that was to narrow to drive through when cars were parked and backing out was a issue. The parking lot was very loud at night. Not fault of the hotel but cars running all night playing loud music and smoking which came into the room very bad. Both nights. Walls are very thin. When your nights are messed up it kinda messes up everything. I also didn't like the carpet in the room it felt dirty.
