Close to restaurants, but perfect in the sense that you do not have to drive directly in to traffic. Pool was great. Very clean and who doesn’t love a heated pool?! Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The bed was firm, which isn’t a bad thing. I just prefer a softer bed. I think they are working on some changes in the room. There was some visible patching on the walls and unfortunately I think mold was starting to grow in the bathroom. There isn’t an ice machine either, at least not one outside for guests to use any time.

There was an adequate breakfast. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool. The AC units were in good working order.
Do to some construction going on at the sight, the cable for supplying WIFI had been severed so WIFI was not available. This required using our own phone's data. I think a reduction in the room rate would have been in order. But no offer was given. Had there been a partner hotel nearby, this also might have been suggested.

Price was good. Jacuzzi hot tub in room was very relaxing once we figured out you had to reset the GFI.
Staff was not overly friendly. Breakfast was just ok. Pool was very small. Room had a musty smell. Couldn’t use the elevator in the morning due to housekeeping using it.

The atmosphere of the entire place was fantastic. I cannot express how wonderful it was after driving nearly 7 hours with kids to have such a friendly staff member greet me. Ever person of the hotel staff i met was caring and listened. Even the guy who ran the breakfast every morning asked how we liked the breakfast and if everything met my expectations. I would definitely stay again!

Room was not clean at 3:45 when I checked in. Was given a handicapped room. Curtian had a big hole in it.

Noise from other rooms, pool, and from the floor/ hallways above and the taste of the water. The powered eggs for breakfast.

Staff was pleasant and not put out when asked to unlock the exercise room. Additionally, I’d had special requests for room location that was met.
The tv didn’t have an information button or code card to indicate which channel number was which station name ie; HGTV-channel 2.

Mix up on the reservation and the room key stopped working

I stay in there 3 times, seconds time i forgot bear toy and they give me back, but last time, i forgot somes skincare( korean skincare) i call back and they say they can’t find nothing, that my fail because i don’t have check all went i leave, but i never be back

The room was very clean! The front desk employees were helpful. Breakfast was not great. Biscuits were sweet, not savory.
We brought our little doggie and we always take her out to a grassy area and pick up after her, but some guests are not so thoughtful. Lots of wet spots on the pavement and even a big poop. Yuck.

Breakfast was good, room was nice. Housekeeping staff was friendly.
Make sure no one smokes, any kind of smoking even if its legal. That my sister had to insist on getting a paper receipt, was told to go online.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean. Breakfast was included and okay. Free parking, no hidden fees.
Uncomfortable bed, straight terrible pillows. Walls are THIN. You can hear the whole conversation next door.

Disappointed there wasn’t a hot tub but that’s my fault for not checking amenities.

the room stunk like an ashtray. carpet was in need of a good cleaning. beds had seen better days.

I used to live in Crystal Lake so know the area. Comfort Inn is conveniently located. It is somewhat older but adequate. The rooms were clean and they provided room service everyday unlike many other places who still hide behind the Covid excuse. A hot breakfast was available every day. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Will stay there again when I visit family.
It would have been nice to have a little sofa in the room to watch TV.
