It was cheap.
They are in clear need of renovation. The bathrooms need shower liner curtains, the walls need work for damages made to them and neighbors leave tv’s on overnight.

The customer service was great.
The room was horrible! The ac was missing pieces, the telephone in the room was missing so many buttons and it didnt even have wires connected/ plugged in. The fridge in the room was not even cooling and my room had a horrible smell! The sheet on one of the beds was coming up and that mattress looked like it had never been thrown out it was a red/ orange color. I didn’t feel clean or comfortable at all. I got my family to bed then my self woke up early and was out! Will never stay there again.

The room was very clean and well presented. The A/C was perfect temp. The bed was well fitted with proper liners and plenty of pillows. Easy access to bathroom. Very clean. Plenty of towels. Clean microwave and fridge.
Had some trouble locking the door from the inside. The breakfast was very limited and not pleasing to the eye.

They facility was clean
The lobby looked a little dingy. There was a food truck of sorts outside and I wasn't comfortable with people back and forth. In the morning there was a staff person in the breakfast area with his phone on some type of Spanish show on and it was very loud. The breakfast items were either cold and suppose to be hot and other items were stale. No butter, only blueberry cream cheese.

This New Braunfels hotel was awesome! Not only did the staff provide great customer service, but I also scored a discount that helped me save a few bucks. Plus, all the people were nice and helpful it was so cool chatting with everyone. In short, this place was great, and I'd stay here again.

The team at Howard Johnson was incredibly kind, making us feel right at home. Our room was reasonably price, but still managed to be very clean and comfortable. We even got to take a dip in the pool! On top of all that, we were able to enjoy delicious meals there too. Most of all, we were extremely thankful for how economical it was. Thank you, Howard Johnson!

I had an awesome time at Howard Johnson in New Braunfels! I was ecstatic when I found out I could score a deal on the hotel room. And the staff was really cool too, they really looked after us. Just overall great vibes at Howard Johnson's. Highly recommend it!

We had the best time during our stay at the hotel in New Braunfels! We loved that it was close to so many attractions, and we never ran out of things to do. Plus, they had a really awesome BBQ grill and picnic area; we had a blast! And of course, the food was totally good. We are so delighted with our experience and can't wait to come back

I can't tell you how grateful my family and I were to have stayed at this hotel. From the stunning view to the incredibly comfortable beds, it was a dream come true. The management's dedication to preventative measures for safety and comfort left us feeling secure, allowing us to relax and make the most of our staycation. If you're considering where to stay next, definitely look into this place! We highly recommend it!

Our vacation in New Braunfels was incredible! The hotel we stayed at was perfectly situated - all the attractions were easy to get to. And there were plenty of things to do on-site, like grilling up some delicious food for a barbecue and chilling in the picnic area. Oh, and the food! It was absolutely delicious - you can't go wrong with that. All in all, it was a truly top notch experience!

My stay at the hotel was simply delightful! Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and helpful - I couldn't have asked for better service. Their concierge services were excellent and it was so lovely that breakfast was included. Staying at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham New Braunfels was an absolute pleasure. I enjoyed the comfort of the room, modern amenities and helpful staff. this hotel was just used for a quick 2 day trip, it served its purpose for that short amount stay. the beds were comfortable, the shower had decent water pressure, & the rooms were fairly clean.
the "breakfast" was debbie cakes & muffins that you had to take back to your room & eat

Handy location for local activities.
Breakfast is a joke. We were offered bagels and cream cheese...PERIOD. The staff is still using that old COVID excuse. Wake up! Your competitors have been serving a real breakfast for over a year. How can you expect any return lodgers if you're not truthful?
Either take breakfast off your description, or offer a true selection of food.
