I WASN'T NOTIFIED TAT THE SWIMMING POOL WAS CLOSE UNTIL I ARRIVIED THE BATHROOM WASN'T CLEAN RUST WAS IN THE BATHROOM

The bathroom had a tub of tooth paste left from another guest.. it was used and was in the shower.. I wasn’t sure if the bathroom was clean.

The staff was kind, the room was clean. I wouldn't say that there's anything I particularly noticed and liked about my stay. It's what you would expect from a hotel room of this price, definitely still over priced though. the incidental fee for the room made it so that I didn't have enough money left in my bank account to eat.

The Price, the room seemed like just a normal hotel room nothing special so why is it 216$ after incidental fees. They provide 3 pillows are all too soft, I need some firmness to my pillow or else I can't fall asleep and I couldn't at this hotel. I stayed up very late the night before I arrived packing my bag and I was exhausted. I came here to meet my long distance girlfriend, but instead she stood me up so there was no point in me getting a room with a king bed. But it was too late at that point. So I got 4 hours of sleep before leaving for Maryland and less than 1 hour of sleep in the hotel due to the pillows before leaving to go back to Virginia. If you're traveling to the hotel from the Amtrak station nearby in Alexandria uber prices are very costly. So I was on the train with all my money planned and budgeted out so ik I would have some money left to get back, but after paying for my uber to the hotel which was costly, then the room and incidental fee, which made it so that once I got to my room I had about 65$ left to my name and I still had to schedule an uber for the morning back to the Amtrak station to get back to Virginia. Which left me with only 21$ after so I couldn't eat aside from a donut I had brought with me. I've heard the hotels food is good but I didn't get the fortune to get anything. Sorry for the negative review but hopefully this puts things into perspective. Overall, for me it was a complete waste of my time and my money, if there was any way to get a refund I would.

The staff was nice and accommodating.

The rooms,1st room smelled like smoke and needed to aired out. I then changed rooms and got a larger room. However, the pullout sofa was broken, and the mattress was subpar. You can feel the springs poking you in your back. I even scratched my hands on an exposed nail when I opened the pullout sofa bed. Offered alternative by the wonderful supportive staff didn't offer truly better options.

Nice location

My first room was dirty ; hair was left in the bed and in the shower; old food was left in the fridge; the trash was not taken out as well.The second room was better though the bathroom was not completely clean there was hair left in the bath tub.

The breakfast was nice. Kinda which the coffee downstairs was available 24/7 with flavored creamer

I didn’t like that the washer and dryer needed coins. And the desk couldn’t give me any change
