I loved the open modern lobby! the outdoor pool was great as well as the gym. this hotel was very spacious & clean. it was on a golf course which was nice & my queen room with a balcony overlooked the golf course; it was very peaceful & quite. Great for business travelers, which I think is the main clientele, since it was not near the beach / tourist area downtown.

it kind a looks like an office building from the 70s or 80s a bit stark on the outside. I was thinking Manhattan Beach is a small town; yet this hotel was very big! lots of rooms! it is a total trade off; clean , modern & very pretty updated design, but architecture not very appealing. I moved the last day to a beachfront hotel which had a completely different vibe and definitely not as luxe! and more expensive!

overpriced. should not be an “ autograph “ rated hotel in your lists. parking garage is a mess and needs repair. staff is not friendly. when I checked in the girl was too busy texting to greet me. Many other issues. I am contacting Marriott in this also. $450 per nite. Plastic drinking cups. a power cord going across the front of the Tv area table. shower floor was wet when I checked in. the door to the room had a huge gap on the bottom to the hall ?? door opened out! not in. who ever sees that in a hotel ?? very poor Mgmt is obvious based on the dull - un friendly staff. no one greets you. smiles do not exist. it is one of the worst stays I have ever had. only good quality is the nice par 3 golf courses. that staff is friendly. I expect the hotel to contact me and offer ???? something.

I didn’t like the fact I had to pay $39 for parking! I already paid $315 for the room and to have to pay $39 for parking is crazy

Location general staff cleaners bell boys etc

2 hour checkin as 300 left earlier. Not enough staff to cope with numbers of reservations Bathroom had a tiny bath but with the light on sensor was unusable. Also the towel rail just fell off completely

The location, the pool, the lobby was amazing.

Some employees and certain guest, acted ill mannered and seem to forget that all can afford a night or two at a luxury hotel as such.

Cleaning was very well done, nice golf course outside, overall a fresh hotel.

Staff at the front desk should definately be more welcomming, the barely said hi when we checked in and was overall non-welcomming and not kind. Felt uncomfortable. Also SO PRICY for parking!! We asked for a room on a higher level when we booked which was accepted then got a room on one of the lowest floor.
