I liked the location of it. I love being able to walk to the pier and beach every day
The whole place has such an old feel. The room smelled musty from the moment I walked in. The room only had a queen bed which was small for my family, and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable. The couch was too itchy to sit on.
The lamps were rusted and the bathroom looked so outdated. When I booked it, they had pictures of the room that were ocean view which was so misleading. I didn’t like that, because we didn’t have the ocean view room. They could have at least disclosed that on the listing.
Our room was facing the parking lot of San Clemente pier. If u didn’t close ur windows, you would hear the bikes/trains/people screaming.
If u closed your window, you would need to have all the fans blasting as there was no AC and it became stuffy. Overall, I would never come back here.

I have a joint disease and the elevator was out of service. This caused me extreme pain as I was on the 3rd floor..even now as I write this review my knees are burning and I am in agony…,a cruel twist of fate

This place is amazing. I can’t wait to come back. The location is perfect. The cost is reasonable. The staff are exemplary. The rooms are beautiful, well maintained, large for the price and beautifully decorated.
I did not like the location of our room. My bedroom wall with the headboard was the supporting wall for the stairs as well as the trash chute. Nobody listen to the sign above the trash chute about the hours or walked up the stairs quietly at all hours of the night. My Apple Watch calculator that I had 3.7 hours of sleep.

internet was not working and cell service in the unit wasn’t good either. Pretty inconvenient though in the end it was like a social media detox?

I felt safe. The apartment is spacious and well appointed. Everything is clean. Hand sanitizers everywhere are a plus. Location is stellar.
The hot tub gate was padlocked. Wish the front desk would have known this before we checked the spa out for use.

Superb location, friendly staff, beautiful building, complete kitchen, a bunch of other amenities we never used on our short overnight stay, absolutely loved the place. Slept to sea breezes and the sound of waves. Bring your camera and wait for sunset. Everybody will be at the little park above the beach. Don't forget a wide angle lens and a telephoto.
On the hottest day of the year with a monsoon coming from the south, there was no air conditioning but still got every available sea breeze. Under normal conditions that wouldn't matter. There are a lot of trains stopping 200 feet away, but hey, we came on the train!

location. it is close to the beach, the pier. that is why I choose it
the bed room is so small, that if you open the tiny closet, you can not get to that side of the bed. The living room has stools in front of the counter, there is no room to pull them out to seat on them as the couch is in the way.

The location was everything the room was great except couldn’t get the stove to work couldn’t cook and office wasn’t answering the phone after a hour and a half we decided to check the power box shut it off and rebooted the power everything came on besides that great stay
The office doesn’t answer the phone and our stove didn’t work for about almost 2 hours decided to turn breaker box off then back on then everything starts working

Very noisy neighbors above us. We were on the first floor. They woke us at midnight and then again 5:00am. Heavy footsteps and what sounded like furniture moving
