The bathroom wall was damaged, house keeping never brought clean bath towels, didn't empty trash, bed side lamp didn't work, mini fridge didn't work, coffee and tea bags were never refilled. The whole experience was bad, and I will look for different place to stay next time I come to Ames Iowa

Breakfast was good and well kept

I like how clean everything is. The lady working the front desk is very kind and professional. she was the highlight of our stay.

I’m in my hotel room, trying to sleep, and all I hear is slamming doors and stomping feet above me. I can hear a man talking loudly, somewhere, maybe it’s coming from the room next door or it’s the obnoxiously loud people staying on the 4th floor, above me. who knows? Thankfully, my two children have been able to fall asleep. My son is competing in the Iowa State Games, tomorrow, and would be too ride to compete, if he was still awake, like me. The beds are pretty hard, and our room is pretty small. Hopefully breakfast will be more than basic. Needless to say, my family will never stay here again.

Great price with clean room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent selection. Front desk staff very friendly.

Not providing water all day, only available2 days at front desk. People used the very noisy ice machine at 5:30 AM. Noise in the hall for 2 nights and we could hear people loudly talking outside.

I complained about kids running the halls all night long. They did nothing about it. Did not get any sleep for 2 nights. I think they should have refunded at least 2 nights stay. I will not stay there again.

Bed too high off ground, tv small, no closet area, cold when I got there.

Within this era of technology I would have expected usb outlets inside the room to add value to this facility. Also, bathroom supplies were just average joe including small plastic bottle of lotion, shampoo, conditioner and soap. It doesn't have to be big sizes but maybe they could add like few q-tips, also there was a coffee maker and coffee pods however nothing to stir or creamer and sugar to complete your coffee.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating

First, we got a super small room for a high rate. Moved to a larger room and the heat didn’t work, so we froze all night. Next morning, we moved to a 3rd room. We later discovered the fridge was unplugged after finding all my refrigerated items were warm. To top it off, we completely ran out of TP. Lastly, there was a loud party going on in the lobby until after 1am. This property is dated and the lighting is terrible, yet the rates are as high as any other property. Staff was amazing- best part of the stay!
