Chase, the young man at the reception desk was eager to provide me with the directions to the K.U. campus and was very helpful.
I am gluten free, so there were few choices for breakfast..maybe you could provide gluten free bread for toast or even gluten free muffins? Chopped fruits would be a great addition.

The beds were extremely comfortable.
The door battery failed completely and so a workman had to be summoned to repair. So we waited an hour in the lobby.

Breakfast was adequate. The only yogurt was lite that included sucralose making it NOT a healthy option. No sugar added or unsweetened would be a better option.

Even though there was the same convenience of road work, it was not noisy and the hotel was clean. Liked the location being g close-ish to downtown but in a neighborhood.
The breakfast was okay -no worse or better than other facilities.

I love this hotel. The king suite was spacious, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well designed. The bed was super firm and comfortable. A small refrigerator and microwave were appreciated. The room was quiet. Breakfast was good with several options. I've stayed in many hotels in Lawrence and I rate this above the two higher priced ones downtown. Unless you don't have a car and need to be downtown, I recommend this one.
My only (minor) complaint is that the bed pillows were too soft and squishy, annoyingly so.

the check in process went easy, staff was very nice and helpful throughout the stay and we were very comfortable.
The air conditioner was not the greatest.

Bed was very comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. Loved the chase lounge.
Sad they did not have a hot tub. Breakfast was okay. Though I do not care for their egg omelets.

Close to KU. Our room felt really clean! Bathroom was great. We enjoyed the breakfast!

The atmosphere of the hotel was very nice. The bed was noisy when rolling over or moving around on it. And, no, it was not anything more than sleeping. “Wink”. The only other issue we had was that our room was right where the opening to the first floor entry to the hotel. And while we were on the 2nd floor, I guess the playoffs were on, and the adults sitting at the table watching the game, were quite loud with their enthusiasm. Even run in our own fan, which is noisy, on purpose, didn’t drown out their sound.
The staff was EXCELLENT, and the food was delicious! We’d recommend this hotel to our family and friends!

The front desk worker when we checked in sent a personal text message from his phone to my cell phone welcoming us to the hotel, which felt a little strange.

Room was comfortable and spacious. Would have liked a few more drawers(small chest under table top?) for clothes.
Breakfast was fair. Unfortunately there was a junior football tournament with tons of kids and much noise.
Pool was unavailable given all the young kids (probably 10-20) in it most of the time we could have used it!!

I was charged $10 more than Booking.com said my total would be. I didn't appreciate the rate change.
