The location was great, easy walk to shopping, restaurants and museums, we felt safe while walking out and about in the evenings.

The room was very comfortable and complimentary tea/coffee in the morning was nice as well. Walking distance from everything in town.

Unfortunately, the Anvil Hotel did not meet our expectations. Given the high price point, and the beautiful pictures on Google, we were expecting a beautiful boutique hotel with great amenities. However, when we walked into our room we were highly underwhelmed and disappointed. We were on the ground floor facing a parking lot with a decent amount of walking/car traffic. Because we had an AC unit in the window, the curtain could not come down all the way. When we asked staff to help out, they offered the solution of "hanging a towel" from the top of the window so that people could not peer in on us changing. The shower head was leaky and the bed was very uncomfortable. The staff also seemed quite indifferent to our needs. Additionally, the lobby offers free tea and coffee which is a great amenity, however, you have to wait in line for the staff to finish checking in customers and handling phone calls. There should be a self-service station. They have honey for sale at the counter and when I asked if I could add some honey to my tea they said I had to buy a whole jar.

Rooms were too cheap, including bathroom, beds. Lack of enough towels, toilet paper. On top of it, it was super costly( >500). IT IS A JOKE.
