You are on your own ends to make stay comfortable. No service other than someone hands the keys . Everything is self service including throwing your trash

Perfect stopover on the road to Hilo - cozy setting - and once we had figured out the "cooling situation" (no A/C - but you rarely need that in Hawaii with all the gentle breezes) the two large fans in the unit was more than enough. The unit was large, seating more than ample, and the view lovely - we shared our breakfast with an inquisitive gecko as we had our coffee on the balcony. The black sand beach is just minutes away, but with quite a pounding surf - nearest restaurant/grocery store is about 20 minutes away, so come prepared.

Nice quiet location, very secluded.

Layout of upper units over lower units made for noisy nights of walking and shuffling of chairs upstairs. Should renovate so that every unit is dual level and only share neighbors on the sides.

Location of the hotel was really perfect the beach is five minutes away from the hotel.
