We had a great time at Mike and Karyn's Lake house. We found it prepared for our arrival, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and appreciated the use of their water toys. The house is in a great location on the lake near a boat launch. Also close to town making it easy to find stores and restaurants. We would stay here again!

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend here and absolutely loved it. The views overlooking the water are spectacular. The water is just feet away from the back steps, which is somewhat unusual for Lake Lanier. The weather was fantastic, with warm, sunny days and cooler evenings. We enjoyed floating in the lake, reading on the dock, boating to dinner at Pelican Pete's and brunch at the Gainesville Marina. Shopping and restaurants are close by, so it was easy for me to pick up a sweater for the cooler evenings. Mike and Karyn are fabulous hosts. They take care of everything exactly as the listing says. They are also awesome people. If you have the opportunity to do so, go for it. They won't disappoint. One day we hope to own our own place on Lake Lanier. Until then we will be back at Pier 39 for sure.

This is a lovely place to stay. The terrace level is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. All the windows look out to the lake and boat docks which is just a short walking distance away from swimming, canoeing or kayaking. It was so peaceful and if you are lucky you will be blessed to see a few deer visitors walk through. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. Thank you Mike and Karyn

This is our first VRBO experience and if they all go like this we will continue to do it! Mike and Karen were so kind and made us feel so comfortable! It was so quiet, surreal, and clean. We miss the lake views already!

Pier 39 was not only a beautiful property but was so comfortable and the accessibility to the lake was awesome! With a boat ramp nearby it was easy to get our boat to the property and tie up to the great dock! Mike and Karen are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will hopefully get a chance to stay here again in the future!

We spent the Independence Day weekend and had an amazing time. Mike and Karyn were great hosts. We loved taking the kayaks and canoe across the lake to an island beach. The kids had a great time jumping off the roof of the dock. The weather cooled off enough so we used the firepit to cook s'mores. All of this and the downstairs space is beautiful with comfortable beds. We hope to return again.

We had the best time at the lake with our twin 8 year olds. The dock was awesome, the facilities were perfect and Mike & Karyn were very accommodating. We enjoyed jumping off the top of the dock, strolling around the lake on the kayaks and canoe and we even had the chance to relax, and play, on their new lilly pad, which is especially relaxing with a drink in your hand!

We had a terrific getaway with old friends here. Mike and Karyn were so welcoming and kind. The inside of this place is perfect and cute. Beds were but and comfortable. Very relaxing. The outside was not perfect - but felt like home. We had a lovely time!

Our group of 2 couples stayed with Mike and Karen for NYE as a getaway from Atlanta. The apartment is spacious and the view of the lake is gorgeous. We had coffee on the dock in the mornings and enjoyed the serenity. There is plenty of privacy and Mike and Karen were gracious hosts. We'll be back!

Absolutely loved our stay. Wish it could have been longer. Mike met us at checkin and made sure we were set. Adorably decorated for Christmas and stocked with everything we needed. Loved our nights relaxing the firepit on the lake making s’mores. Thank you so much.

Can’t say enough about our week at Pier 39. We didn’t stray too far because the house had all we needed. My 14 year old loved his “man cave” (2nd bdrm was huge). We loved the view in the morning especially when the deer visited. All of us had very comfy beds. The TVs didn’t matter - we spent many hours everyday on the lake - tons of fishing, kayaking, swimming (kids loved the lily pad). Even got out on a friends boat for a day. Then the fire pit and BBQ. Best of all, Mike and Karyn are excellent hosts - very welcoming and accommodating. If we asked for something it was provided. If they didn’t have it they had it For us the next day. Awesome time. We hated to leave but I think we’ll be back!
