The breakfast was specially prepared for your individual needs as well as providing the usual American Breakfast items. Yogurt, fruit, eggs, pastries, and sausage as well as coffee, milk and various fruit juice were available. Parking was ample and convenient.

Beautiful stay, centrally located. The stained glass and overall architectural style felt warm, peaceful, and welcoming. Would definitely return!

Everything was very clean. The continental breakfast was nice.

I didn’t realize our room had twin beds but we just rolled with it. The disappointing part was that even though there was room for it, there wasn’t even one chair in the room. No where to sit! Two beds, a nightstand and a bathroom with a very poor shower for almost $300/night. Also, although we were told that they prefer to clean the rooms every day, we came “home” from a long day to find our beds still unmade. Disappointing.

Multiple restaurants in walking distance. Peaceful area.

The Abbey is beautiful and the food and service at the Bistro made for a wonderful dining experience.

We were supposed to receive vouchers because of a change in the breakfast due to COVID-19. The owner was away because of a death in the family. The managing staff was very pleasant but seemed extremely busy and overlooked directions on going to breakfast.

I made the reservation on booking.com which made it seem like all rooms were in the church building. There is actually at least one other bldg next to the Belfry. On-site parking was appreciated. To my surprise, our room, Idas Room, was not in the Belfry, it was next door to the Belfry in a tall attractive Victorian style house called “The Painted Lady”. The ground floor was a hamburger restaurant called Next Door. We were a bit surprised by all this, but took it in stride as we were ushered next door to our room, which was up some narrow spiraling staircases. It was cute clean and white. To my chagrin, It lacked any chair to sit on so we used the beds to relax on. I am friendly but did not receive any warmth at checkin, nor at breakfast which is served in The Belfry building (previously a church). Do not get the waffles you will not be happy. This place was a bit of a splurge for us and, although it was charming and clean, we didn’t feel that the proprietor made it worth the extra we paid. Lackluster staff, no chair, very average breakfast.
