Location on the water in downtown Houghton
The elevator shaft was right next to our king suite and so loud. I also asked for clean towels and trash to be emptied. The housekeeping person stepped on the bath mat on the floor in order to leave the clean towels on top of the toilet. Gross. And the trash was never taken out. This morning the staff said they were sorry but there was nothing they could do except talk to the staff.

Excellent location. New and modern style decoration. Facilities (rooms, lobby, gym, breakfast room etc) are really nice. Overall cleanliness is top-notch. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Only thing to focus on is the breafast. Selection was a bit limited. Not so many choices. Coffee was the best in town though. 😀

We had to leave at 6 am to catch ferry to Isle Royale so couldn’t have breakfast.

Staff was very friendly. Everything was very clean. Not a single complaint. Breakfast was very good as well. Oh and it was very clean.

the location relative to downtown and campus is ideal
the location of our room. At the end of the hall by the pool, employee only elevators, and exit to the parking lot on ground floor. perhaps the worst room in the hotel and they have vacancies.

This hotel is in a great location for MTU related activities. It's a clean and new hotel. We had a great weekend stay.

Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff is friendly and location is a plus.
Parking is a nightmare and not enough spaces, hotel was booked almost full.
For the price of $350+ a night, the breakfast should be much better. Not to mention the location of the dining area in proximity to the front door of the hotel.
