Nothing has been updated since I would say the early 80's. Room was extremely humid and wet feeling. It felt dirty even though we thoroughly checked and no bugs other than the several live flies. I only got about 2 hours of sleep total. We would have went somewhere else if there was anything available.

Rooms may need to be updated but it was an alright stay. The people were very friendly. I would stay there again if I would ever visit again.

Convenient location, room was decent, but dated.

While the woman at the front desk was very nice, the man working there was not. When I checked in he kept rolling his eyes at me because I had dogs with me and he apparently thought I was crazy for paying for them to be with me. It was almost like he was trying to convince me not to stay there. Later that night my husband had locked our key inside the room and went to the office to see if anyone was there the same man as before just asked him a room # and handed him a key without any knowledge of who he was and if he was actually allowed in my room. Didn't ask any sort of identification or verification.

Rooms were clean and modest, could definately could use some updating. Staff was very kind and hotel is pet friendly which is great. Best value overall for the price. It's not fancy, but It was convient to the lake.

Nice location near the dams- therefore a good spot to drive from to go fishing. Nice little village feel with everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. Room does look a little tired but it does the job and great value.

Room could do with a cosmetic update. Also, even though its described as a riverfront- there is a little walkway to the river but it's broken down. If this could be fixed we'd happily return and do a spot of fishing.

The location was nice. There was no breakfast.

The people are very friendly, the rooms are nice. The bed is very comfortable, there is a microwave and a mini fridge. The grocery store is right next door and there is a restaurant & a Pizza Hut at the end of the road

The only thing I did not like was our last night, we had a very loud group staying right next to us and they got up really early and were very loud. That is NOT a reflection on the hotel.

Beautiful view of the river!

Room was on the rear, short little walk to the river. Saw a family of 3 otters hunting fish! It was quiet, not many guests at this time. Very close walk to a Dollar Store and IGA, but set back from businesses.

Room was clean, but run down. Looked like mold or stains on the ceilings, toilet rocking on the bathroom floor, very small tv for the room size and distance to beds. Ice machine was broken. Owner/operator not friendly at all when we checked in. We finished our business early and left after one night but paid for 2. No refunds. Price comparable to other hotels we stayed in on our trip, but because of the "cheap" price, there was a sign stating no refunds.

My trip brought me to Burkesville, right near the hotel. I liked that I did not have to travel to far, there was a mini fridge, a microwave and a HUGE bathroom (but we might have been in the handicapped room). The staff were very friendly

There were not many places to eat around the hotel, but that does not take anything away from the hotel (it's not their fault). There were no chairs outside, as smokers, we like to sit once in a while. Everything else was nice.
