Little light for reading after dark

The historical architecture, took me back in time. The room and bathroom gave off an ambiance that comforted me while staying in the room. This is not your ordinary hotel. The decorations, brick walls and lighting add to the experience. I will be back again!

Across street from wonderful courthouse Christmas lights. Nice welcome, room nice, on small size but lots of nice little details. Bed very comfortable room very quiet high pressure hot water in tub/shower. Great breakfast we ordered night before delivered to room when scheduled was included in room rate.

Stairs no elevator

Breakfast was perfect. Just right. The location could not be better. Loved the bathtub! Upgrades maintained the rustic feeling while integrating 21st century convenience. Defiantly will recommend. Staff was nice, attentive and communicative.

Although small, the ambience of the room was very nice. For breakfast, we each had a cup of coffee which was good. My wife had a bagel, which she liked. It was blueberry with butter and raspberry preserves. She also enjoyed the orange juice, although it could have been a bit larger.

For breakfast, unfortunately the pastries they gave us were bite size. Literally. We each had two. If they had of been of normal size, it would have made all the difference. My wife had the bagel, so that helped - but I was still hungry. It just wasn't what I expected. The shower/tub was great with the exception that the water came out of the shower head so hard that it stung my head. Otherwise, it was very nice.

Very charming and quaint hotel. Right in the middle of Whisky Row and all the action. Clean and quiet.
