It’s beautiful in the common areas, the grounds was beautiful, it’s a perfect place to go in the fall

we checked in about 1 AM because we got lost, took showers went right to bed at 4 o’clock. The smoke alarm is chirping every five minutes and I had to go get someone from the desk and have him climb on top of my bed to put batteries in the smoke alarm he was finished around 4:30 AM. I was only going to be there one day and I didn’t wanna sleep all day but I didn’t get much sleep because of the fire alarm.

Location, location, location! Splendid view of the lake and mountains from our room and balcony. The short drive up to Bell Mountain Park offers a stunning, almost aerial, not-to-be-missed view of Lake Chatuge.

The outside of the building could do with some pressure cleaning. The Lodge is a lovely building and deserves to be well maintained. Seems like the breakfast was rather skimpy for the price.

The view over the lake is spectacular, beautiful area.

Room was smelly and outdated. Carpet looked dirty. Walls had stains and ceiling too. Hedges out back were trimmed and left cuttings on cement patio. Beds were like a rock. Lodge needs a major overhaul. Will not be back.

Convenience of location to the Fairgrounds, beautiful view of lake, access to outside from inside the room and the continental breakfast was great along with great barbeque place within walking distance.

A little better lighting in bathroom and one electrical outlet needed replacement.
