This stay was one of the best on our trip!! Everyone was so friendly!! I cannot say enough about the adorable room and how super clean it was. We truly have never been in a place so immaculate. We loved the retro aspect. The gardens were fabulous and artistic. I was sorry not to be able to stay and linger a few more days-weeks-months!!

Location is great. Easy walk to everything. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. No problem with traveling with a dog.

Beautiful and quaint little hotel in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock, close to everything in town. Staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming. The bathtub jacuzzi and fireplace were really nice touches!

The rooms smell a little old and can get “musty” very easily, but once we turned the AC on all was well!

Loved the owner‘s aesthetics. It’s also impeccably kept and everyone was really friendly.

Very small room and bathroom along with very inconsistent WiFi.

We've visited Blowing Rock many times, but this was the first time we stayed overnight. LOVED our stay at the Homestead Inn — perfect location, very comfy room, and the best shower we had on our entire trip. We'll definitely be back! Close to all the shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore all the town has to offer.

The outdoor areas were very inviting and the beds were very comfortable especially the sheets. Walking distance to downtown. Very peaceful.

This place was just OK to us, nothing specifically wrong with it, just smaller and more out of date than I expected. Not sure where those expectations came from, they are totally mine. No fault of the owners.

Small dated room. ETTA: Also, I gave an honest review of my stay, it was my my experience, which is what I hope to get when I read other reviews, their honest impression. I take all reviews and then make my decision. The owner's response to my review, however, takes my rating down a notch. If a review hurts a small business, which I did not insult in the least, then maybe that small business should take a look within.

We stay there every time we go. Love everything about it and the owners are great.
